Ain't the same these days because society let it happen. We sat back and did nothing about it. We allowed the powers that be dictate us and social media took over. We all just sat back. We gotta get together and start a movement. Bring back the happy days. But people are locked and controlled in their own little world it's just impossible 😢
The closest I ever had to this was an illegal squat party up at some mansion right at the top of Hampstead Heath by the Pond near Jack Straw's Castle. Even into the 2000s you could still find such magic happening and dare I say even today but less and less thanks to the advent of social media. Amazing party and bumped into whole crew of people I went to school with who I hadn't seen for like 10 years. They were the year below and it was just so weird to see them grown up. Traded alcohol for other substances and still can't remember why I left when things were still going on.
I was at a party in this place. At one point police came to, everyone thought it was getting shut down, but they just asked everyone to get off the roof and we did and carried on the fun :)
I don't understand why everyone is ragging on social media. Bush doofs and warehouse raves were always a pain to communicate out, I wish we had social media to co-ordinate on back in the day. Even into the mid 2000's, the ability to announce via invite only groups on myspace was a godsend. What I suspect you mean is people going to events and posting for clout. That's not the fault of social media. That's just human nature unleashed.
@@michaelhorne8366 nah I mean social media and that setting a threshold of the type of people coming having some level of intelligence or connection. Or the very best sheer chance and accident.
@@michaelhorne8366 hahahaha in fairness I can only recall making one playlist there. But out of curiosity why would it preclude me from the comments section here? Every single character in this film is a complete twat.

So true. Social media prevents that kind of thing from happening nowadays for sure.

Any 40,s just find this a little bit torturous?!
Geoff Saunderson not far off 40 but this is just how it was for me
Mid thirties myself and this just reminds me of the good old days.
