Nice work restoration and gameplay! And yes a burn free monitor. I have only played this one live at Funspot many years back. Never remember seeing in arcades growing up in the early 80s but I did have the Coleco Vision version of it that came with my Adam computer system. Obviously arcade gameplay is much tougher and way cooler.
That's where I played it first too haha. Funspot back in 2015. I definitely love the cockpit version, and that would be the one to have, but I'm happy with this one.
Lots of great games on VCO Object (Buck Rodgers: Planet Zoom/Zoom 909 is one of them), nice that there's no burn-ins on that monitor too (even though I was shown that earlier though, but still) (very nice picture too), whatever what mod /or hack that the previous owner did to that monitor was insane (like an Insane Asylum escapist). Storms are fun to watch at times, sometimes they kind-of suck (like knocking out the power at times).
Very cool cab. Well done sir.
Planet Zoom! Used to play it on the Apple II and didn't even realize it was an arcade game until later on.

That front panel looks to have been replaced.
That's really strange, isn't it? Maybe someone kicked it in when it was in an arcade or something
