It is more convenient to chop fish or chicken with this knife as you can use the pressure of both your hands. We have different names for this knife. In West Bengal it is called a ' bonthhi'. In Bihar , Jharkhand and other places in the north, it is called a 'bainthhi' or 'hasuwa'.
I love to watch grandma cook I love to watch her wash the vegetables and the meat for some reason it's like meditation for me is so Serene and peaceful I love her I love the beautiful kids at the end when they eat her food that is so awesome thank you so much for your beautiful videos

Hi grandma, we called that ALUGBATI in philippines, we cooked that for soup grandma sometimes with mongo beans so delicious and healthy, i love it, ur recipe grandma is unique and this is the first time to see Spinach or alugbati that with egg nice and looks yummy too

I know this is probably a stupid question.......but in all of these videos.....I never see any water, milk or anything else to wash the food down. I love watching......its sort of a form of meditation for me. Everything is very slowly, carefully and mindfully carried out to perfection. What a wonderful way to live.......the real world is way too stressful for me! And by the way.....the food looks absolutely amazing......and the little ones are so precious. Very neat and sharp knife. I would have surely cut up my fingers on it but it’s really a good cooking gadget. I love seeing the sparkling clear water and shining steel pans. Do you have piped water? Your own well? Since most of this cooking is done outdoors where is all that cooking gear stored? Your mom is a wonder.
I make pretty much this exact recipe, but as an omelette for myself...I tend to use tomatoes instead of red peppers..but I also love peppers(not spicy), onions and cheese omelettes too..yum When camping, we put hot coals on top of our cookpots to bake like this..we also bury n bake whole turkeys, chickens, and roasts like this, not to mention clam/seafood bakes..we(Americans) prob got these great ideas from cultures such as yours..✌💜😊

I'm learning so much about how to cut veggies from this beautiful woman. Can you ask her why she cracks an egg using a knife? Most of us here in the states just use the side of the bowl.
She is such a neat and clean cook and enjoys what she does. She has worked out her system with the old fashioned techniques she uses and does a wonderful backbreaking job to make delicious foods to die for.
