If someone who finished it & is reading my comment, please let me know if it's worth it, and whether it is a fantasy drama bcs I don't like the genre. Thank you ❤️
Hi! Just finished it, kinda skipped most part at the end lol idk if u watched the show by now but leaving my review.
Not a fantasy drama, but if you watch this show with the expectations of New Life Begins, then you will be greatly disappointed. New Life begins is way superior. Ngl I did enjoy lot of moments of Choice husband but it lost me with the plot in the later half. It felt like the writers dragged the conflict at end a bit too much.
for historical romance, i'd recommend Love like galaxy if you haven't watched already. good plot, a bit dark and can be politically heavy but isn't messy, also good actors

I'm glad you said this, now I won't regret it, I found another historical cdrama and I'm loving it so much, it's called Royal Feast, starring Xu Kai. Idk if you've watched it but if you haven't then I strongly recommend it. Interesting plot, superb acting and delicious food + good romance ✨️

Pathetic storyline.
It should end with the male lead ditching female lead at the wedding ceremony, asking her to prove that the child is his in front of everyone (especially since she made the child call him great uncle and doesn't reveal the child is his and tortures him by saying the child belongs to SML).
Then charge the SML with using force and getting female lead pregnant, make him a eunuch, cut off his limbs and put him to beg on the street.
Female lead should just be left to starve to death, then when she's close to collapsing, feed her a little and repeat.
Male lead can adopt the son, get married to someone who actually cares about him.
If this is the ending.... Then I am dropping the story.
