One wonders why you have done this video without examining Daytone ink? Also why you are not saying that Parker Ink is why priced more. Why you are not examining other inks available online like Bril?Suleka and few more?
As of September 2021: Daytone costs Rs40 Camlin costs Rs20 Parker costs Rs80 All these inks are just fine, not great not terrible. There are superior quality inks in the market but they come at a premium. For the price, these inks are pretty good.
@@Harikrishna-kt6po pilot 's blue and black are pretty damn great , but they come at around ₹300. They are very water resistant as well tho, which is something that no other ink in that price range offers.
Daytone has water resistance to a certain extent, Parker Quink doesn't have that. So, Daytone can be considered for fine and extrafine nibs since it would also have negligible bleed through and feathering.
In India why is the entire mass so over-obsessed with water resistance? 1) Think about the flow also. Which ink won't clog the pen. 2) Which ink will flow smoothly. Which will make the pen write smoothly. 3) Which will make it rough. Which one clogs the pen after few days. Are these questions not important? Think whether you are okay with an ink which is water resistant but it will leave a residue and spoil your pen is it.
Interesting. Camlin ( Kokuyo Camlin now) costs Rs.25 for the bottle of 60 ml in the neighbourhood shops. On line, they charge much more. Daytone is available in a superior version also- priced higher. It is not available in local shops- we have to order online for a bundle of 15 colours. You have not considered one old Indian brand: Bril. Bril has been in the market since around 1964. I am using this ink since 1964. It flows free, dries quick, does not clog or dry in the pen.
