Man what a setup for making firewood fast and a bunch of it!! Your conveyor looks like it could almost hold a 1/3 cord when loading it up like you did. That thing is a tank!!
Wow, that is tough rounds. I think you need one of Andrews horizontal splitters for your tractor. Your back will say thank you. TY for sharing. Love watching the videos.
Thanks so much for the nice comment. It means a lot when people say they enjoy the videos. I don't know if I have enough flow to run the tractor log splitter???
Get er done Mike💪🏻 That 24D is impressive! I know locust and it was pushing it thru the box wedge💪🏻 Must’ve been the shirt😂 For making bulk sale firewood that is a nice setup. You got a good system going there. Take care brother👊🏻
We could use some rain here as the Smokey Bear sign says Extreme. I really like the box wedge, (have the regular 7 way.) Made a noticeable difference when I sharpened mine.
@KNLFirewood : someday I will venture out and split some of the Midwest finest hardwoods. In the meantime, I just got to stay close and take care of my parents and family company. 😉👍
Locust not common on our property. Was only one big tree. And hurricane Fiona blew it down. Your right. Heavy and very hard. Hit it with a hammer and it hardly makes a ent in it. Sorta hard to burn. Have to have other wood with it I found. Some nice red coals from it. Just like coal. Just my experience. Things were getting a work out today Mike. Have a great day. 👍🏻👍🏻👋👋
That’s definitely one sweet setup!
Thanks TC!
Nice work mike! I’m still envious of that barn it sure looks good in the background✌️
Thanks Aaron! Don't be envious. You've had a barn (or several) longer than I have!

It don't split itself Jacob! 🤣
Great splitting session Mike. The pullback arm really takes most of the physical work out of the process.
Hi DW! If you have the right wood, you can fly with a box wedge.
Great splitting session!! The 24d works to your advantage!! Stay Hydrated and Have a Safe Day
Hi David! Thanks!
Mike Tks god for EASTONMADE wood 🪵 splitter. Box 📦 splitter got watch the grain in the wood 🪵 for splitting it right for less waste . 😊
Leonard! Junk in, junk out with the box wedge. It will just pulverize stuff it doesn't like. Less waste with the box wedge is key.
One day I hope to get a bigger machine that will support a box wedge. Your production with that machine is crazy fast. Happy weekend brother 🤜🤛
Box wedges are great of you have the wood it likes. Junk in, junk out. But if you have the right stuff...it's nice!
You got the perfect pair Mike! Man the honey locust is no joke!!👍💪👍
You're not kidding. I thought my saw was going dull. Super super hard and dense.
Mike, you are gon’a be sore in the morning ! Great set up 👍👏 You have come a long way 👏😎🇺🇸
Hey Rick! I actually wasn't too bad. Those locust rounds were heavy!
That was a productive session!
Yes sir! I need to cut a mountain sized pile of rounds and really put to coals to it! Thanks for coming by!

Hi Todd! This must have been honey locust. Black locust splits like a dream. This stuff...geez. Hard and heavy!
You spilled some. I definitely need to add a conveyor!
Everybody needs a conveyor!

We have the same wedge. Unless yours is the 7 way pizza wedge? I love the box wedge. It is kinda picky on what it likes.
I love the trash bins I’m stealing that idea ❤🎉
Yes sir! I took it from Club Dora Firewood. Petty theft 🤣
That’s a quick unit.
Hi Vic! Yes it is. Thanks for watching!
That conveyor sure has plenty of grunt to take off with a full load of splits on it . Mine woulda cried and folded in half if I did that to it lol .
From what I hear that problem is about to be solved??? 🤷🏻♂️👊🏻🎁
Nice job Mike. Some of those rounds were pretty big. Be careful man handling them.
Hey Dean! They were big...and heavy!
The right size blocks for a 24 ways with a 6 cycle Cummins turbocharged wood 🪵 splitter. 😊
You taking about those big locust rounds? I would have loved to see those get pushed through a 24 wedge in one push.
You just might make your goal this year just keep going. I think for me, I don't think I will, but i got a great head start to next year.
I'd love to split a load of some of those nice doug fir rounds you get

Thanks for the subscribe. Enjoy your channel
Does that hurt the wood?
That's what she said! 🤣
Beauty of a setup! Is it just me, or do most people that run a 500i have the same thing, where it 4 strokes a lot?
Thanks! That is a common observation amongst 500i owners. 4 stroke, 2 stroke, I just pull the trigger and let it eat!
Good morning Mike , very nice job on getting those 4 totes filled . Those were some big rounds . 👍🏻🪵
Hey Del! Thanks man! I'll save a couple of the big ones back for you!
The Eastonmade is getting it done.
Hey Robert! I can't get enough cut to satisfy it! It's hungry!
Bet you checked how sharp your chain was after cutting into the locust. That is some tough stuff.
You're not kidding! It seemed to take forever to get through it. HARD stuff!
The ole 500i was chewing pretty good too. I love hearing them scream 💪💪
It's got a WC bark box on it. I like the way the Egan Straight Shot sounds over the bark box.

Hey Noel! It was heavy and hard! I bet it burns hot too!
Mike everyone in the wood yard are cutting there video short due to rain 🌧, hope we get rain 🌧 because rain make corn 🌽 and corn 🌽 make whiskey 🥃 😊.
And corn 🌽 for me, makes an ok mix of gasoline 😉👍
The big rounds always seem to make you work for it.
So much good wood in them. The fight is worth it!
For monstrous rounds is it harder or easier to use this than the Axis vertical splitter?
Axis or 4 way on the 24D. Box wedge doesn't like knarly rounds
Mike running a stihl you need pockets full of sugar for them to run 🏃♂️ right 😊.
I just keep them fairly clean, use non-ethanol fuel and I have almost zero trouble with them.
They have the names for the smaller machines.
.
That one should be called the, SEND IT.
The bigger one should be the SEND IT infinity.
.
LOL
SEND IT! I love that!
Good bucking and splitting, and a shower to boot 🤣
My weekly shower 🤣
