great video, i think main VC area will be 10% to 30% bigger than LS but i also hope to see minor towns, like roadside ones in some places, it would give more life to the map.
if VC will be only this bigger than LS then I would expect at least another city... or also some classic era. I mean that's the least we would deserve after lifetime of waiting ffs..
Most people say they don’t really mind if the map was the same’ish size or smaller than GTA V. But honestly, I would be disappointed if it wasn’t at least 1.75x the size. The reason being is that this game is most likely gonna have a really long lifespan. If the map is small, that small map will get old faster than a larger map (Unless the map is designed well like GTA SA of course, it never gets old). Just my personal opinion however, please spare me from the awful wrath of badly spelled, 5 paragraph essays on how wrong I am.
@@CyPhaSaRin People within the server are in fact 3D modeling VC based on what we know, someone is doing a Minecraft map, and multiple people have started/done some Roblox projects, some more accurate and small snippets, some more derivative and not fully accurate.
Good video and analysis! This actually is better evidence for a city in the northeast part of the map because I believe it would make more sense for R* to flesh out the eastern part of the map by going up from VC/Miami>rural area>City/Jacksonville. This would make more sense then them just having the whole coast of the map be populated in urban areas. In addition, we can see Lake Leonida shown on one of the highway signs as coming up soon, (Americas 2022-06-27 14-52-04) which fits with your theory of the curve/bend of Florida, bc irl, the bend/curve happens around real life Lake Okeechobee. So this fits. And since there is like 12 more exits on that highway, after the North beaches exit, it obviously remains possible that there would be small towns throughout that northbound highway (97 N)
My dream is it has cuba. Maybe Lucias family is from cuba and she goes to visit them. Could be some fun variety and something Rockstar has not done in gta. A second city island far a way. No cutscene.
Since they call gta 6 by “project americas” and bermuda tringle is mentioned on the leaks we may expect something else further south of leonida (florida).
I think this may be a case where density means it wont be as large. Miami alone would have more than double people than every settlement in RDR2. So it may only be slightly larger than GTAV's map but with far more to do in it
Rdr2's map is much smaller than gta 5, gta 5 is still bigger if you combine both rdr2 and rdr1 maps (even with new austin repeating twice). It just feels bigger because no planes and fast cars. Also half of gta 5's map is just empty mountain ranges and useless desert, makes it feel smaller than it actually is. Not to say, 5 also has a lot less interiors than gta 4 or san andreas even. Overall, it's just a pretty bad map, don't know why anyone ever liked it.
I don’t know how Rockstar managed to do it, but Grand Theft Auto San Andreas’s map still feels huge and unexplored despite every person and their grandmother seeing the game for the past 20 years.
Yeah the only cities on the eastern side of leonida is vice city and vice beaches,Leonard county is based on broward county but without Fort Lauderdale and north beaches are a complete separate thing from vice beaches
@someonelike9153 Sadly that’s true. Honestly I think a larger map would be so much better. Think of how quickly the map and terrain will feel small and boring if it’s smaller or only slightly larger than GTA V. Sure, you can add all the interiors you want, but it doesn’t make the map feel any bigger.
Its most likely going to be much smaller than people expect, will have far less interiors (5 had a lot less than 4, so been done before), half the features shown in the trailer will be cut by the final product (very common in modern gaming), many major components will be cut out of the game and instead sold as DLCs (EA style). The story will be short and crap in favor of focusing on the online component instead (Gta 5's story was much shorter compared to 4 or san andreas). This is 2024 people, games are not gonna get better anymore, whether that be due to greed, politics, laziness or whatever. Stop hyping stuff too much just to get disappointed.
The worst part about it? People still cling onto it and pay their money for that crap because people are so desperate and have such short attention spans that they are willing to do anything for 5 minutes of entertainment. TikTok is a perfect example.
@@cloud99955 Eh, the stories only last so long though. I guess you can say that about the map but I am more of a map enthusiest than a story enthusiest.

This guy already made a video saying that Vice City is 1.75x bigger. With Port Gelhorn estimated to be the size of LS.

i don't know why mod makers aren't building a map at this point, they've done half the planet in minecraft and that's block by block at times.
I take it you haven't heard of the mapping protect?

GTA 6 will be bigger than GTA 5
No shit
No shit sherlock
The only thing I care about the map is like 15%-35%more bigger than the GTA 5 map or more populated
It is. You can use the cords from the leaks to get the rough area of the map.
and that's without any triangulation.

It'd be funny if GTA VI had its own Vinewood based on Hollywood, Florida. Like how Vinewood in GTA V is based on the more known Hollywood, California.

Just based off of Rdr2 they will probably have a huge map. Red dead was last gen with that amazing map.

If they dont make a huge map, and multiple cities, instant turn-off. GTA SA TO THIS DAY, Still has best exploration and feels biggest

I hope GTA 6 will have more real life Miami districts, GTA 5 Los Santos was dissapointing as hell because it didn't even have Long Beach!

They put so much effort in detailing places that are never used in the game, I’d rather just have a less detailed but a bigger map.
