I am still using the Note 5 Pro ... Purchased in November 2018 at the cost of 13,000/-. My previous phone was Note 3 purchased in 2016 at cost of 10,000. Only Camera quality is the concern for me. 😊

Great information, I have been using MI phones since, basic note series, have used note 3, note 5, note 7 pro+ currently using note 9pro +, but now planning to switch to realme or 1+
I've trusted Mi in early years, bought redmi 5, y3, note 6, 10 prime, 11T 5G and in last the Redmo note 12 pro plus. But, gradually, they have reduced the quality of OS, features and overall experience. Just like most common trend, i have always been an active follower of Samsung's premium segment. Ultimately, i have moved to S series. Xiaomi should focus on strategy and segments before it is too late.
They do not have any control over their OS.
Why would you even update your phone's software?
All phone companies provide bad software updates gradually with lucrative features which people don't understand. That's the buisness strategy. To reduce the experience so they will upgrade their phone to new launched phones.
By not updating phone it won't kill your hardware.

Another factor is their service. I Bought two Mi 11x 5g phones. One of their displays started malfunctioning within 5-6 months. Their service centre told us that it's out of warranty due to a very minor dent on the side casing, which probably was due to the protective cover that we used. The other phone's mic stopped functioning, and again they didn't cover it in warranty. This model is not a budget phone. It is an SD 870.
Kya baat kar rhe ho bhai. 1 saal ho gye mere wale ko. I'm fully abusing it, no lag, no degradation in battery performance, no display issues. It may have been cause I didn't upgraded it to MIUI 13

This isn't the reason. During Corona there was shortage of silicon supply which led to the hike in price of processors and the snapdragon processors became costly which are fast, reliable and long lasting because the which Xiaomi switched to mediatek to provide cheap smartphone to the customers and make huge profits with compromise in price and quality. People are smart and they understood it and nowadays companies are providing same thing with new names no more innovation and technological enhancement so people are not investing much on phones which led to fall in smartphone sales over the years.
The biggest reason is visibly competition in mid range budget phones. Many players have entered into the foray post Mi huge leap likes of #realme #infinix #iqoo #oneplus #samsung what #MI did was it never tried to raise the bar until some other chinese brand like oneplus earned a premium band in the market but it was too late for mi and also bad user experience cost the company huge downfall.

Downfall reason:
My journey with Xiaomi was started with Note 4pro in (2017), Note 5pro (2018), k20pro(2019), Poco f3GT pro(2021).
Currently I am using k20pro (since 2019) and last buy was poco f3 GT pro in 2021.
I am very disappointed with last buy and i think following points are the reason behind the downfall of Xiaomi as mentioned below.
1) Bloatware
2) advt.
3) missing of mi dialer/contact
Very bad experience of google dialer& contact (specially in call record)
4) missing of mi message app , very bad experience of google sms app(can't seperate SIM1 & SIM2 SMS)
5) low RAM & old processor (not latest)in gaming phone(high end)
Conclusion: Following "Nokia"

Simple answer: they took us customers for granted. The customers who were responsible for their success. The customers who purchased and loved the note series upto note 9.

Manu vai was the hero person for xiaomi's innovation . I can remember that first flipkart flash sale craze at it's launch . After that i brought every small category product of xiaomi including note 3, note4 ,note5 but now the reality is changed for it's high price, bad os and poor camera . From last 4 years i have shifted to Realme and samsung's s series .
Xiaomi is now basically focusing on global market rather than Indian market. They are innate in doing some unique innovative value addition that results in some unprecedented featuring smartphones. They are shifting their domains to high end feature sets from budget range smartphones. Eventually the company is abstaining from launching such smartphones in Indian budget oriented market

I am using Redmi Note 10 Pro, after updating MiUi 14 front camera not working. Wrost experience, Redmi uses cheap hardware. Boycott Mi phones. Downfall is necessary.
When I was using MI and REDMI phones, I used to change for every 18 months. After shifting to Samsung, forcefully I change after 3 years mainly to get news security and android updates. I f not phones are stiil good and in working condition.
I'm mi note 5 pro user from last 6 year. Still satisfied and backup of 1 day (whole day net on and stock trading screen on) with low brightness
Feeling sad for this because my family is Mi family, my all family members have used mi phones but now we are also little bit bored from the same issues shown in the video and feeling sad for the wonderful phone company which was a king of one time in the country ❤

from cheapest keypad to f13 , i am a samsung user since 2011 .. common problem in samsung android phones is lagging and bettery backup (sometimes heating also) ...but i love the UI and durability ...

now they are not providing proper customer support as well... when you buy a mobile from there official website and if there is any fault then you have to visit offline center ..
Customers were very disappointed with the Redmi Note 10 Pro Max Motherboard and camera crash issues. I have even sold the phone and switched to Vivo.

The decrease in sales doesn’t mean fall of the company, and the market share of Xiaomi in India is still pretty big, I think the title of the video should be the issues of the devices rather than the downfall of company cause tbh I don’t see any huge downfall of MI
Manipulation of words doesn't change the fact . There's sharp decline in sales which results in sharp decline of market sales also

Still remember those redmi days, I myself had recommended many of it's phones to my classmates. Friends used to call me the brand ambassador of redmi. Hope it bounces back
