Thank you Aritra Banerjee for interviewing Rabi kinnagi. I am an Odia, grown up watching Rabi kinnagi films. He has done many films with Superstar Uttam Mohanty and Siddhanta mahapatra. Rabi kinagi was one of the notable names in 90s Odia commercial superhits. Although he has started doing frame to frame remakes in late 90s.. with almost no flops. He introduced Jeet madnani in Odia film suna sankhali which was a flop in Odia but, it did pretty good business in west Bengal with dubbed version as 'Mastan'. Time has changed now... Remake films almost stopped in both Odia and Bengali films. If we respect directors like abbasmastan , David Dhawan then why not directors like Rabi kinnagi and Hara pattanaik. They gave many superhits to the industry. Specially Rabi kinaagi gave many superhits in Odia and Bengali industry. He shaped the career of Bengali superstar Jeet and Deb.
This man has a huge contribution in the Bengali film industry in the whole of 2000s and early 2010s ... he now needs a very good commercial script ... and the result will be a bangerrr 🔥
