You should add that using spell cards to counter them they need to wait for the locomotor to start moving. Because of their taunting reduced damage taken by 99%
This is not exactly a counter, but given I mostly run a Harry deck, I yeet the enemy Locomotors to eachother, or even better to the player, with Stupify, gives a nice chunk of damage and they're stunned for a second while I prepare my next move
I am kinda confused about the ban system. I finally paid a bit of money to make an obscurus deck, which is banned right now. But so is this card. I keep running into Locomotor, but I can't play my card. How does that work? Are they just lower level and the ban doesn't affect them yet?
Locomotor and obsucurus are banned both only in duos and in solos are banned obscurus and orb of water at least in my region. I think you can play them but your aren't getting much value if you win. Idk what exactly happens I haven't tried playing banned cards as I find it stupid, but I know if you win against banned cards you get more points.
@@drinibuzali1289 You cannot play cards that are banned in your region. Bans differ between regions so if you match up with someone in a different region they may be using cards that are banned for you
Banned cards rotate out based on what people vote to ban that week so you can use your card in a week! This does not apply to 8100 rank and above because you are in global tournament rank at that stage at which point you get to ban out one deck every game!
@@MannyMariachiThat happens if you play against opponents from a different region, with bans that aren't the same as yours. Opponents with banned cards are also displayed before a duel if you get closer to 8100 pts, and start facing 8100+ players.
How to counter locomotor? You cant just take the loss Jk hahaha for me snape echo is the best counter, any cc spell, dragon of course is one of the best counter with aoe fire and they cant hit him
@@drinibuzali1289i don't think snape can counter hagrid at all, the hagrid will always run ridgeback and the best thing the snape player can do is obscurus, but the hagrid player will just essence of dittany or episkey the egg and obscurus is never enough to kill the egg, after that the egg hatch and we get a damage amp fireball in our face. We can run an anti heal but that would cost 9 mana and a waste of 2 cards and theres still a chance the egg wont die if we're unlucky

The spider nest also counters them, as spiders deal damage both when theyre alive and dead

You could also counter em with hagrid companion. Uses a bunch of movement cards tho
