Fifty years of Deakin Residences: Gerard and Vanessa's story

Deakin residential alumni Gerard and Vanessa Bibile met at a BBQ on campus shortly after beginning their studies. Now married with four children (one of whom is a Deakin alum), Gerard and Vanessa returned to Burwood Student Village to reflect on their time living on campus.
Deakin Residential Services is delighted to celebrate 50 years of student accommodation throughout 2023. We will be sharing stories of alumni who have lived and studied with us over the last 50 years, as well as bringing past ressies together for three great reunion events in June.
