I've been playing since release, and I'm really considering quitting this game this season. I have just not been having fun playing against the same restrictive decks repeatedly. The meta has been creatively stagnant for months. There will never be a fix to the game because there will always be a tier 0 deck. We've seen this with Aero Leader, Zabu Silver Surfer, Galactus, Loki, Thanos, Hela, and now Professor X. As long as there are ways to gain an advantage in a semi-exploitative manner, allowing easy farming of wins to gain an imaginary rank, we, as humans, will always find the easy way.
No new game mode and I'm not excited at all about Leagues. Til they change stuff for the better it's just gonna be really stagnant and I've had this burn out feeling so I decided to take a break. I still try and support certain content creators, but damn this game needs SOMETHING.
While I understand confirmation bias, Im still waiting for my streak of not discarding Hela with > 50% chance to catch up with my actual streak of usually hitting Hela when presented with a > 50% chance
