After Bobby Watson scored that screamer (League Cup) he had to have a go every game after that - and never even got close lol Stuart Rennie - couldn't kick the ball over the halfway line, but could save a penalty.... Willie McVie - could put an opponent over the hoardings with a tackle... Gregor Stevens - had one amazing season then went to Rangers and got virtually sine die-ed....
brings me back to my teenage yrs then I joined the army had to fly home home from Iraq to see the 91 cup final cost me big big time from my commanding officer sent to 3 shit tours off NI then frozen Falklands then belize without anymore leave in 2 years
I am sure Motherwell played a few games on Wednesday afternoons in the early 70s due to power cuts ie not able to use floodlights can anyone verify this ?
