Thank you for this! I've swapped from bales to pellets a couple of years ago and won't look back! No waste and my oldest horses have gained weight and are keeping even through winter. This diet works for me!
Do you get anything overnight? Im super interested but unsure if the pellets would be slow fed enough to last all night which is why I use slow feeder haynets but I’m open minded and just want to learn, how do you make sure the forage is there 24/7 when feeding pellets? Thanks!
Horses choke when they "wolf down" their feed. Horses only tend to "wolf down" their feed when they're fed inconsistent feed and inconsistent schedule. A well-fed, healthy horse doesn't do this.
