Thanks for sharing❤️ *in the space above his changing table what if you place a few milestone pictures of him that you change out frequently? Honestly it looks ok empty because I’d be afraid it would fall and hurt him. Wait until it’s no longer his changing table and a cute air balloon picture to tie in the wallpaper or actual air balloon decor could hang there☺️

Beautiful room! Note: I saw the Broken documentary on the IKEA dressers that killed babies, I did the safety test on ours and it failed so I got rid of it! Something to look into , but at the least just a reminder to everyone that you must anchor the cheap dressers to a stud, not just the drywall ! Pull the top drawer out all the way of your dressers and put some weight to it and it should not tip over- if it does it is not passing the safety standard.

You should anchor ANY dresser for children to a wall. None of them are meant to be free standing and can tip if the top drawer is pulled out and weight is put on it. Also, the IKEA dressers that have killed have been recalled and are no longer sold at ANY IKEA. Just an fyi but thanks for the safety reminder!😊

What a beautiful nursery! I would put up the balloon wallpaper above the changing station- it would just complete the nursery. Alternatively have a canvas printed with a hot air balloon and your baby boys name.

I have the same changing pad as you do and I wouldn't put anything on top of the pad because it makes the battery run out way faster! Just a little tip!

I did end up using newborn/3 months socks but for my daughters hands so she wouldn’t scratch her face. They worked better than the mittens that kept falling off

Ikea has those wire picture holders. You can put that with different pictures of him, you, and Chad. You can even swap them out and not have to stick to the same photos. Just an idea 💡
They have your exact same rug at Pottery Barn but it’s $215! You paid way less on Amazon! I actually just sent your link to my friend. She has the rug registered at Pottery Barn and it hasn’t been purchased yet, so I told her to put it up on her Amazon registry also and maybe someone would buy it, and if they didn’t she could just buy it because it’s so much cheaper!

I co sleep with my baby. So I didn't have a need for a nursery. I just had a bassinet for his naps until he was 3 months. I changed his diapers on a changing pad on the bed or couch. I had 4 of the white ones so I could change them out and wash them. Didn't matter to me. The smell of diapers didnt matter to me so I didnt bother with a diaper pail. I just made sure to take out the trash as often. If I had the money to decorate like you I would've and it is cute. But my son grew so fast so I'm kind of glad I didnt splurge much on those items. Just be careful when you change him because he'll get to that wiggly stage and try to kick off his diapers. Currently what I deal with at 9 months 🤦♀️ it may be different for every mom but just a little tip
