Summary:
Given a perfect opportunity, you make an attempt to escape from Augustine. In your haste, you don’t pay much mind to the floor below and are soon painfully reminded of your mistake. Even though he’s shown you some vulnerability, it dawns on you that vampires might be less predictable than you thought...
Part 3! Ok, I delayed this one more than I thought I would. My initial plan was to get to this one last week, but we can see how that turned out 😅 Sounds like this one might be the last part in Augustine's story, for the time being. However, I will, as always, be keeping an eye out for any follow ups to this story in case the writer changes their mind 😊

[listener]'s circulatory system must be built like a reservoir. How did they survive the blood loss from both the bear trap and Augustine feeding on them? 😭 You did a great job as always! Had me holding my breath without realizing when the heartbeat faded.
Adrenaline is a wondrous thing. That, and I'm sure Augustine didn't have to take all that much between the listener's condition and his recent meal....👀

Augustine may have never met one and doesn't notice a difference between us and humans, it main explain why we taste good, our fast immune system/blood regeneration, and could be why we survived in the woods for a few days and why the hunter was chasing us.

I listened the first two parts to get back into the story - it´s amazing.
I'm torn about his character do i like him, do i understand his behavior because his past...mhhh we´ll see. And what have the listener to hide?
