They literally took the "immortal" idea from Blade of the Immortal and turned it to a thriller reveneg story of sorts. At least in the Blade of the Immortal, Rin has a reason why she wanted revenge and hired Manji as her bodyguard unlike the protagonist in this series.
What's annoying in kdramas is that they always make the supposedly hero act like a stupid bum and fall everytime into traps .looks like the witers are gullible teenagers fans of animé,lol
It would seem the ending implies the Military found out about them, however I dont think this series will get a 2nd season because it was poorly received. Even with this 18 minute recap it was kind of a boring story with lack of creativity, besides the serial killers art. But thats about it. So much wasted potential on a predictable cat and mouse chase
