One of the smartest players in women's soccer. She was already exceptional when she was playing for Stanford but for some reason was not called to the USWNT at the time - and USWNT were struggling badly back then.
Imo, Jill Ellis really really fucked up when it came to christen, if she had started her more, she would have a hell of a lot more Goals than she has, she is finally getting the time and recognition she has earned over the years, im so happy that Vlatko see's her potential.
The potential of the USWNT attack would have been so potent that I am not sure what Ellis was thinking. Rapinoe is great no doubt but she couldn't get by her defender if they were highly skilled and is not great on defense and that put Dunn under pressure so many times, a perfect example is the France WWC game and you noticed the difference when Press was in for the semi-final against England. Hopefully going to WSL will get her some recognition that she deserves because it's downright criminal. I'm almost certain that if it wasn't for the USWNT stupid rule of having to play in the US to make the national team she would have been in Europe for most of her career.

I think her attitude has changed lately. She had now realized that she needs to represent herself as physically and mentally tuff. Before, she has presented herself as very humble and has spoken about herself as being very petite except for the fact that she plays soccer. Women already have to fight harder than hell against a misogynistic view of women’s sports! She has always been great, but I think she has realized that she needs to change the public perception of herself.

When becoming a footballer everyone dreams of scoring or setting up play no one goes football dreaming of hanging around in goal being a goalie is a total different ball game u only want to be goalie if u want to be picked for roster but other players take positions u like and then the coach asks well who's going in goal and u pick ur hand up just so u can play on first team and if they. Progress u feel good and that's how goal keepers get started not from age 4 but maybe 14 but they wud be dying inside to play midfield really
