There are several buildings in NYC taller than 270 Park Avenue. Central Park Tower, Steinway Tower, One Vanderbilt, and Park Avenue Tower. None of them have antennas or Spears counted within their heights.
Yes, that's how it's planned for now, but we'll see how it turns out in the end. a4.pbase.com/o12/06/102706/1/174804985.J5hXUkqU.FosterandPartners3.png
Nyc's skyline is getting crazier everyday yearbut i think it's losing its skyline quality due to having to find whatever spots are available for the next tallest buildings. When you're on Manhattan however, it will only look better.
Only one city on earth has at least eight skyscrapers that are at least 1200 feet / 364 m tall: New York City! I was there 2 weeks ago, and the skyscrapers, along with the retail, energy, bridges, rivers and restaurants, were wonderful. In my opinion, Central Park Tower is the tallest building in NYC. It has a roof that is over 100 feet / 30 m taller than 1 WTC. 1 WTC has a huge spire, that, technically, makes it taller. Central Park Tower was in the video, and is the tallest residential building on earth, and the tallest, by roof height, outside of Asia.
@@scottwood928 My apologies. You're absolutely right, I was wrong. And not just about that, Shenzhen won’t meet the criteria until next year either. So your statement is absolutely correct: The Big Apple still holds that title. And with what’s coming in the next few years, it’s only going to get better.
The Two World Trade Center (Although It Might Be Beautiful) It Will Certainly Not Be One Of The Tallest In The World. The Two World Trade Center Will Actually Be 1,348 Foot Tall. It Will Definitely Be A Big Statement For New York City, And The USA But Much Taller Buildings Have Already Been Built And Will Be Built By 2030 Such As Project Commodore, Tower Fifth, And The One World Trade Center.
It's mind boggling to me that they're willing to build such beautiful skyscrapers yet are held back by symbolism because of not wanting to go higher than the one World Trade Centre if I was building a high rise I wouldn't give a shit how fuking tall I had to go I wouldn't allow a certain height to stop me
I think the spire on OWTC is an advanced technology with a power and not just something to boost the height. Both OWTC and 270 Park are gorgeous and fascinating architectural designs.
I'm not impartial about this; from my point of view, everything was done in the worst possible way in this building, from the awarding process to the design. And regarding what you mentioned, I think everything on the antenna could have been placed inside a parapet or integrated into the building without being exposed on a simple mast. In any case, I think the CTBUH was very 'lenient' in admitting that the antenna was a spire, and therefore, I believe it should never have counted as the official architectural height. But again, it might be my own issue, and I may no longer be objective when evaluating this building.
@@Magnitudx Maybe it wasn't a perfect process but America was at war after 9/11. The OWTC is an architectural achievement because it was erected during war and built from ashes. The building of OWTC and WTC after 9/11 is meaningful and left an unforgettable mark on history hence 1,776 ft tall with the spire. I think the spire is an advanced technology for nuclear power and it needs to be outside. Maybe it shoots laser beams into the sky to create clouds/rain/lightening/electricity. Maybe it's a device with electromagnetic powers or a weapon like a death ray. The way antennas need to be on a roof or telescopes on top of mountains or in the atmosphere, the spire needs to be on top of a building at a high altitude so it can work. I do not believe at all the spire was placed there to boost the height. If you stack all the WTC buildings how high would that be? Do you really think that height could not be accomplished without the spire?
@@Magnitudx I do agree with you that 1 WTC looks cheated, but I think they purposely kept the roofline at 1,368 ft, which is exactly the roofline of the original 1 WTC, and of course, the building height is at 1,776 ft. The original design actually called for 2,100 ft, which would make it world's tallest at the time (before Burj Khalifa), but it was scaled down.
@@lactran7475The OWTC is an overwhelming beauty with an intricate design. It is an octahedron structure and the entire skyscraper is a crystal material. They did keep the heights from the twin towers and the north tower did have a spire/antennae. Building a taller structure isn't as hard as building a tall multidimensional one. It's much more complex to build a platonic solid hedron structure such as OWTC.
The 270 Park Ave. Building is also superior quality because of the unique design that resembles a jewel placed on prongs. The entire building is made out of a crystal material ands it's individual rectangle prisms forming a truncate pyramid type structure. There are also diamond symbols on the building symbolizing a diamond jewel in the prongs. Both OWTC and JP Morgan Chase buildings are gorgeous and fascinating even though they are not 2,000 feet tall.
The rendering you did of the building was fantastic, but that font coloration and the confusing reflections of it is weird and ugly. I’d suggest a solid white, keeping the same font. Also the flare flourishes and the font taking up half the screen when looking up at the building was very distracting
NEITHER 270 PARK AVENUE, OR I WORLD TRADE CENTER IS THE TALLEST. NEW YORK'S TALLEST BUILDING IS, THE NORDSTRUM BUILDING, (AKA) THE CENTRAL PARK TOWER, 1,550 FEET BY ROOF HEIGHT. THEN THE SECOND TALLEST IS, III WEST 57th STREET (AKA) THE STIENWAY TOWER, 1,478 FEET, NEX IS THE VANDERBILT BUILDING, 1,401 FEET TALL, AND FINALLY, THERE'S 432 PARK AVENUE, AT 1,398 FEET TALL.
why do they have to put the commrae tower near the crysler building like that though and now it going to look like an L where the super tall skyscrapers are going to be at due to the street that lead to grand central and billionaire row
With the help of Blender and Resolve, mainly, and some work, of course. I'll take note of the Laredo thing; hopefully, sometime next month I'll have some time to dedicate to it.
Hey Mr. Magnitudes😎👍🏼🗽 This is excellent! Are these new 3🏙️from scratch? Also, did you write the script too? PS - ever think of doing 3 + 4 wtc (to go w 1)? I’m going to shoot you an email later today A solemn day for sure😔🙏🏻🌎😓 Phenomenal job🙂👍🏼👍🏼
Man, my friend! You've been missed. Thank you so much, I'm glad you liked it. As for the new towers, I haven’t had time for more, so they’re 3D Warehouse models that I’ve modified a bit here and there depending on how they originally looked. As for the script, well, yes, but it’s nothing memorable either, haha. And no, honestly, if I don’t have much love for the OWTC anymore, I have even less for the rest, so it hasn’t crossed my mind to do it. But if it excites you, let me know, and I’ll make the effort. I’m looking forward to your email. As for the date... yes, it’s a day that says a lot, and none of it good.

The height of One Trade Center should be 1368 feet NOT 1776. If that’s the case it wouldn’t be the tallest in New York.
175 park ave is so royal and beautiful
I can't wait to see it come to reality, I would come to NYC just to see it.

Yes, there are three cities (Edited: Incorrect, with over 1,200 feet, only NYC) that meet that criterion: Hong Kong, Shenzhen, and NYC.
