Allazov sent a message in his last bout with Sana that he meant business. Sana is no slouch by any means but Allazov dismantled him. Going into this fight I think most people would think it could go either way, but the way Allazov took apart such a seasoned fighter like Jo with seemingly such little effort is truly amazing.
Never allowed Jo to settle in and find his rhythm from the beginning, pressured him with powerful shots and kicks. Precise timing, looked agile, alert and light on his feet.
It was clear Jo was stunned by Allazov’s power and onslaught from the onset and knew he was in trouble. In fact, seemed like he gave up and shook his head when he was down on the canvas on the second knockdown. Jo didn’t look too hurt, but he knew he didn’t have an answer to Allazov and sort of gave up, imho.
Watched the pre-fight video where Jo seemed too cocky, stating he never watched Allazov fight, did not have a game plan etc. Well maybe he should have. Allazov truly deserved the $50k bonus by putting up such a spectacular performance. Can’t wait for the final!
I truly believe Allazov is the best kickboxer in the world right now. Can't wait for him to face Tawanchai or Superbon. Let's see what's up.

Throwing Tawanchai against Chingiz in a 3 rounds Kickboxing rules at 70 KG is too harsh for Tawanchai.
Tawanchai vs Petrosian in a 5 rounds Kickboxing rules ( like those at PetrosyanMania ) is way more fair for Tawanchai because at least Petrosian just got destroyed by Superbon so he most likely isn't anywhere good to his former self.
Tawanchai vs Chingiz Allazov in Muay Thai rules with MMA gloves ( like when Tawanchai fought against Sittichai ) is a great fight but Chingiz would never allow himself to fight in Muay Thai rules against Tawanchai ( or anyone dangerous ) because just like Petrosian and Marat he only want to fight career Nak Muays ( Samy Sana and Jo Nattuwot ) in Kickboxing rules not Muay Thai rules because its too risky.
@Christian Manansala Tawanchai can only beat Chingiz ( for now ) if it's under Muay Thai rules but Chingiz just like Marat/Petrosian don't have the stomach to fight under Muay Thai rules against a guy like Tawanchai ( or Jo Nattuwot and Samy Sana ).

I trained under Jo and Khunpon at Bangkok Boxing in Duluth leading up to the second Giorgio fight. This was right before the schism. No idea if that fight's outcome had any impact and I doubt it did. Giorgio was simply the best kickboxer at the time and Khunpon is an amazing coach.
The fact of the matter is that at the highest levels styles and rulesets matter. Jo is a Muay Thai fighter competing under kickboxing rules. His tools are limited while the kickboxing skillset is emphasized. Lateral footwork, hand combinations, and dynamic kicks had been the meta techniques for years in K1 before this fight, and for good reason.

Chingiz Allazov was supposed to fight Marat Grigorian while Jo Nattuwot was supposed to fight Dovydas Rimkus but unfortunately Marat Grigorian was diagnosed with COVID and so ONE FC made Chingiz Allazov fight Jo Nattuwot while Dovydas Rimkus fought Ivan Kondratev instead.

Jo Nattuwot under Kickboxing is very good but you can't put him against the top tier like Marat Grigorian , Superbon Banchameck , Giorgio Petrosian , Sittichai Sitsongpeenong or Chingiz Allazov and expect him to win.
In Kickboxing rules against guys like Joney Risco , Dzabar Askerov , Enriko Kehl , David Kiria , Ivan Kondratev , Petchmorakot Petchyindee Academy , Samy Sana or Tayfun Ozcan i can see Jo Nattuwot beating them or having a close fight against them because those guys aren't top tier.
Jo Nattuwot belong with those guys but he doesn't belong with Chingiz , Sittichai , Superbon , Marat or Petrosian in Kickboxing rules.
Petchmorakot Petchyindee Academy and Jo Nattuwot are all very good under kickboxing rules but they can't consistently be successful against the very best Kickboxers at 70 KG ( although Petchmorakot did have 1 close win against Petrosian In Kickboxing rules ).
Tayfun Ozcan almost defeated Sittichai. Was a close fight. Sittichai struggled quite a lot against him. I believe Tayfun can be the best fighter in the world on a good day.

Those guys you mentioned obviously do not like to step out of their comfort zone and I think that's fine, It's more fun seeing muay thai guys going after those fighters themselves in KB anyway. Still, I thought Jo could've given more fight.

Samy Sana vs Yodsanklai Fairtex in Kickboxing rules was great but i wouldn't way Yodsanklai was a pur Kickboxer as he was always a Nak Muay.
ONE FC promoted Jo Nattuwot because Jo was pretty famous in the U.S because he fought at Lion Fight Muay Thai for years.
So the American audience might be familiar with Jo Nattuwot than with Chingiz Allazov.

You'll never see Petrosian or Allazov coming to 5 rounds Full Muay Thai rules with MMA gloves and fight guys like Petchmorakot , Jo Nattuwot or Sorgraw.
Or Marat Grigorian coming to Muay Thai rules and fight Aikpracha Menayothin.
It's always Nak Muay going to Kickboxing it's rarely the Kickboxer coming to Muay Thai rules and fighting the top Nak Muay there.
That's why Ramon Dekkers is EASILY the best Non-Thai striker ever because he fought 42 times against Thai fighters ( 11 wins , 29 loss , 1 draw and 1 no-contest ) and almost all of those 42 times it was full under Muay Thai rules with a big chunks in Thailand too.
If Dekkers fought all those 42 fights under today's Kickboxing rules : almost no clinching , no leg catch/sweep , no throw , no sweep , no dump , no trip , no elbow and 3 rounds then Dekkers would of probably won half of those 42 fights against Thai fighters.
That's also the reason why today's Kickboxing rules are more Anti-MuayThai than ever before.

Samy Sana also who was 0-0 in Kickboxing rules but still crushed old Yodsanklai Fairtex and old Dzhabar Askerov in Kickboxing rules while losing to Giorgio Petrosian and Chingiz Allazov.
