I was born in’81 and remember Dave Thomas and the Wendy’s restaurants of the 80s and 90s with the newspaper tabletops, salad bars, and sunrooms. I went to Wendy’s tonight in the year 2023, and it broke my heart. These types of chain restaurants have really gone downhill since my childhood. Today it is more about profits instead of quality of service and treating employees well by paying them enough.
