Yk i feel like most of the grounded community can agree with me... After beating grounded getting the good and bad ending. Most of us probably shed a tear. This game has been outstanding to play and is one of my all time favorites. The time you were in that lobby with your buddies, and picking your characters. slowly progressing through the story and secrets of the backyard. getting insanely overpowered weapons and armor. Then beating the Brood Mother for the first time, beating Mant, Assistant Manager... Then struggling to beat the Mantis. Ahh good times. I started playing this game a few weeks after it was released and i still play it till now in 2024. Obsidian you made a kick ass game. You guys should be proud. 🔥 To me, this is one of the only games that really attaches you to the characters and environments of the backyard. I rarely cry when beating stories in games. Grounded really got me to cry, it's just looking back to the very beginning. Then looking at your stats and gear now brings a tear to your eye.
You can feel the soul of Grounded in this one. It's like they knew this would be their last composition for the game, so they did all they could to show up and show out for it.
Hearing this yesterday after playing through the whole game again the past 6 days was magical. For the last big content update, this update brought so many things I never even thought about that just blew me away (I haven't even discovered everything too)
I remember my brother telling me he found this new game on the xbox Game Pass, and he told me it was a survival game and that my brother sucked at survival games, so we got into a mutiplayer lobby pick our characters my brother picked max i chose pete truely an unmatched duo. As we spawned into this brand new world, we wondered what now?... Until we figured out we could build. So to construction, we got building a little mushroom house (cuz the mushrooms looked the coolest) with a grass roof (We started playing in the shoom and doom update) anyways after we built our masterpiece we got curious so we went on youtube to find out. HoW tO gEt A pEt In GrOuNdEd And so We got to work with some grinders and waited for the slurry to grind. 5 mins later the slurrys done we both take about 10 each and go off to tame a pet me brother got a whevel so did i but after that it was geting a bit late so we warped up on what we were doing and went to bed that night promising we would play in the morning...
