I have an ipad 9 and found a really cheap used version of the Logitech Combo Touch to buy, but it’s from 2 years ago and it only specifies compatibility withthe 7th and 8th generation ipad. But i’m thinking that’s because the 9th wasn’t out yet, because i noticed on their website that now they say it’s compatible with all 3 generations. So what do you guys think, would it work for my 9th gen ipad?
I own that Logitech M353 Mouse and a K380 Bluetooth Keyboard both in Blue. Budget wise,these two combined + iPad 7th gen are a steller deal for in-home use. Perfect for my small desk at home. That new Logitech Combo Touch is a killer deal for an on the go "Laptop-Replacement" at $150. But I don't need that this semester with everything going Online right now lol
That pencil has no pressure sensitivity or tilt support by the looks of it which explains the low price. Wouldn’t take it over Apple Pencil tbh but then again I’m an artist who needs that functionality 🤷🏾♀️ EDIT: I think it’s important you consider these distinctions and highlight them - not everyone who uses the same device uses it the same way or for the same purpose as others, even under the category of being a student. Art students, design students or aspiring artists who happen to be high school students who use their iPad for more than just taking notes. Saying the product is just as good as another but failing to address the use-cases where the differences would impact purchasing decision is shortsighted, narrow and disappointing to see. You have to consider and acknowledge the other use-cases where someone with different needs and/or priorities may find value in one product over the other even if you yourself do not. Even better if you can showcase an alternative third party accessory that addresses those elements lacking and bridges the gap! Something for you to consider going forward.
Don't get paperlike. It's far too overpriced for the durability you get. It only lasts a month or so before it gets foggy and scratchy. Get a $10 Amazon one if you want a matte paper protector, at least they're cheap to replace and the durability is the same if not better.

I don’t know what games you’re interested in (and if your question is still even relevant for that matter), but I’m playing on my Air 4 and I don’t see it struggling in any way. The most heavy game graphics wise I have on it atm is Genshin.
I got mine for $250 - for that price, it's really good value considering how much it could do. But if you're looking to do some serious content creation, you may want to look at more powerful options.

I sold my combo touch again because: 1) makes the iPad twice es heavy + thick (MacBook Air is lighter) 2) does NOT provide a good angle for sketching 3) keyboard is not tilted (like the surface devices) so it’s not comfy to type I really wanted to love this but it’s a bad standalone case + a bad Laptop replacement so 130€ is just too much.
Antonelly Araujo the air 3 will last longer but the 10.2 inch is pretty great value. Works great and it’s super great having the smart connector at such a cheap price.
