Kid with his uncle - I’m a social worker and I would celebrate SO HARD if they ever stood up for themselves like that. This kid deserves to be defended by his parents. Sounds like the Uncle has moved from bullying his sibling to bullying his nephew - maybe that’s why they aren’t stepping in :/
21:20 I already don't let people borrow my things, because I never get them back, But this story is a special case. He *_stole from you!_* He deserved to lose his job! *_NTA!!!_* This story is infuriating! I'm pissed off for you! I'm glad you got your books back. Eff that douchebag!
I have binged almost every episode over the last week. I love Maddie and Brandon… but Sam makes me straight up ugly laugh. His hot takes knock me out 🤣🤣🤣
Story 1: I was the Minister of Music at my home church and when I was 13 or 14 they had a surprise party for my birthday during rehearsal. I ended up not feeling well and decided not to go (to rehearsal, which later I found out doubled as the "party"). They didn't save me any cake.
Story 1: I think the whole family has a communication problem. Dad has been emotionally absent for a long time and the one time he wanted to do something thoughtful, he placed it at a wrong time. I think neither of them are the AH, but the kid had zero expectations of the dad doing anything for him so I think making the party a surprise is a bad idea. I personally am not a fan of surprise parties and something like that is one of the reasons why. So imo if this is your first time doing something for someone in a long time, talk to them about it.
i think the way he went about being mad that he didn’t come was where he became an AH though. throwing a party at the wrong time doesn’t make someone an AH but he shouldn’t have blamed the kid for not coming, especially in that way.
late to the discussion (currently binging the videos hehe) but had to say in response to 13:35 , I reheated taco bell from the night before on my 21st birthday and forgot to take the foil off and almost blew up the microwave ❤ so yeah don’t reheat the taco bell its not worth it LOL (also just had taco bell last night and my stomach was what blew up this time ✌️)
The J story… That went way too far 🤣🤣😭 I wouldn’t of got the man fired but I would of went to get my stuff back for sure but like at his house or something. And him asking her to pay for him getting fired? No dude that’s in you
Um no the book store is the pawn shop place that he was going to sell his books through. This man stole collective items and refused to give it back and he was going to sale them. There are consequences for his actions. Also the store would have gotten in trouble for accepting stolen goods. They absolutely deserve to know.
As the old person asking the kids to get me the... My joints are falling apart. I hurt. I'm sorry. I'm really not just being lazy, it's just you've got the young, healthy legs.
Can you all please just read the title and immediately after read the AITA story IN FULL WITHOUT ANY INTERRUPTIONS!!! It’s so frustrating what a story should take a minute or two tops to get through is like double the time or more because of constant interruptions… the host and especially the Guests can make their comments and jokes after IN THE COMMENTARY PART
I feel the same, but dude they post time codes when each story start and the response and if there a comment they read. If enough people skip big sections theyll likely stop - but a lot of the audience likes them and like that part of it.
@@call_me_mad1236 the issue is that they don’t read the story all the way through… they get a couple words out and have to stop due to interruptions and that is something you don’t have time stamps to skip or else they would need like 20 per story
I think the whole point of their podcast is not to read stories, but to comment them among their conversation. If you don't like their way of making videos, instead of asking them to change their format I suggest searching for channels that do actually adhere to what you'd like to watch.
The uncle... Get up and get your own damn drinks, it's not your first time in that house. Mmm, I've kilt for less. 😂
Story 3: J is a thief, I'm almost certain he was getting those nooks appraised so he could sell them & keep the money himself.
23:40 J was finna sell those books lmao

100%
i think OP was rude because of the comment they could just show the uncle the video with out the additional comment or comparing
@@chocolategirl5725she's just matching his energy. He makes comments about her generation and it's ok but when she does it it's rude?
The uncle is a 🤡. Stupid power games. I hate bullies
I'm commenting on Madi's transition game. That had me rollin' 🤣Well done.

This guy was going to get the books appraised and sell them. That's what he was trying to do. Some books are rare and very valuable.
And signed by the author too
Im so glad J found out after he tried to F around. Good on OP for getting their signed books back

I love this channel, I’ve been binging it ever since I found it

25:01 NTA. And I really don't need to say anything more about that
Azkaban is my dog’s favorite Harry Potter movie sirus is her favorite cause he looks like her but she will sit and watch the whole movies

Those books could potentially be worth hundreds of dollars, a reputable book store does not want someone who steals books lmao
@@idontknowmyfruits2194could be way more if any are signed first editions
All Romantic comedies are the same and everyone has a job that’s is generic and doesn’t really exist but just vague business

And that's fine unless you're constantly saying you didn't ask for what you did and making me go back and forth
