I do this with the utmost respect and appreciation for a truly spectacular drama. FYI, deleted bits: At the end of the episode, while Prince Jing reminisces with his mother, he talks about how Lin Shu request a pearl from Donghai, but when Prince Jing returned with the pearl, his best friend was no longer there to receive it. There's even a flashback to their teenage selves walking side by side, Lin Shu demanding a pearl the size of chicken egg, which Prince Jing objects to, and Lin Shu relents to say the size of a pigeon egg. Alas, this was one of my favorite flashbacks, full of playfulness and vivacity.
Thank you very much for giving us all late viewers the additional information of the deleted scenes. It is only now during lockdown and the pandemic of covid 19 that I have the chance to sit down and view all these wonderful spectacular Chinese dramas and did not realise how wonderfully made Chinese dramas are. It is perfect on all levels from the talented actors and actresses, to the beautiful costumes and music, and the scenery, bravo to the production team for a job well done. Unfortunately, I have viewed this drama a little too late now in 2022, therefore, I have missed out on some wonderful deleted scenes. Thank you very much to you " L.Bear Brothers " for taking the effort of filling me in on the deleted scenes so that I can at least imagine the beautiful friendship between Lin Shu and Prince Jing in their younger days. Thank you very once again.
I always liked the Water Buffalo flash back scenes. It's too bad that the Chinese Government has such a fragile ego, as to erase ZZ's scenes, especially now- knowing that they are in the wrong- but won't admit it.

你要这么理解也可以，但我觉得最重要的是，不这样设计人物，后面的情节就不好展开。其实这一段巧合挺多的，只不过安排得还算严谨，所以整个情节还比较流畅
@@jacksonteng6279 或许吧，这个剧的剧本在众多国产剧里已经算不错的了，但细节处仍然有不完美的地方，你要是硬扣细节，也不是找不出bug。至少甄平说静妃在宫里不过受了些委屈那里，就是说话失误了吧，在当时的情境下，苏宅要处理的事情很多，甄平没心力全都妥当应对，所以无心说出的言论也成了离间计的导火索之一吧，就是这样，你要说他是故意的，他还没那个心机。。。。
