    Marketing...that's the hard part I think for a lot of artists. The business side of one's art requires a whole new mindset and set of skills.

      Yes the business part is certainly the hardest part, esp. if you're an introvert. It takes a lot of time and practice to build those set of skills.

    I'm watching this video again and it's probably my current favorite in the channel. Aside from the helpful info and beautiful graphics, the sound design was also really well done. The added classical music at 0:46 still makes me laugh 😂

    This deserves so much more recognition! I started freelancing last week and I got overwhelmed by so many things, from the creative steps to the administration. Thanks so much for this video!

    Very nice video! I love how simple the animation style is yet very characteristic. I would love to see your animation process from the first idea to the final project🤗
    I also love the background music/sounds.. where are those from? Or did you make it yourself?

    • @plainlysimple
      @plainlysimple  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks! :D Yes we made the music for this. The sound effects we got from various sources like Adobe Music Library etc. some free and some paid. And also we have a new video about our process from first idea to final product. You can check it out on our account if you're interested. :)

    As always, awesome and helpful! I have a question to ask, do you typically make a project schedule along with the project proposal or making schedule a more speculative. Can a project take more time than it's allocated time?

    • @plainlysimple
      @plainlysimple  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi! Glad to know you found this helpful 😊 I typically make the project schedule along with the project proposal. About if a project take more time than intended this depends on your agreement with your client on a few cases it can, for example they want to add something or their publish date got extended but in most cases I consider the project deadline as sacred 😊

    How i can choose the service i want to offer, as a motion designer?

    • @plainlysimple
      @plainlysimple  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi! This depends on what you want to do and what you want to specialize in. You can provide the whole package like from script to storyboard to the final product or just one part of the production like the animation phase. Try to ask yourself, what part you enjoy the most? Motion graphics? Effects? Typography? Frame by frame? and you can start from there. 😊
