It's just better when a pianist reviews a Piano VST, your piano skills definitely shines through. The review is good enough to convince an indifferent person to buy.
Thanks so much for the kind words David. These are truly explorations for me, when I pull up a sound it is like turning the doorknob to open the door to a new adventure.
Simeon, do you think this type of plugin is making everyone sound the same and can explain why we are now hearing the same type of sound all over the place now? We are listening to the same obstinatos, same rhythmic broken arpeggios, same harmonic/rhythmic snippets etc, and that's before AI get's cosy. I know these things are fun but I didn't hear one thing that would make me feel original here. Many thanks for your great videos.
Joanna, such great points here. For me, I had somewhat of a hesitation until I looked at instruments like these to be compared with a virtual studio musician. I am bringing someone from outside into my session and with that I also invite the perspective of where the particular musician will bring. I love hearing some of the patterns and it takes me out of my own head and the usual patterns that I would normally gravitate toward and helps to spark a new direction. It challenges you to not just drop things in but explore how you can leverage the inspiration to be more creative. Thanks so much for the kind support and I look forward to seeing you again soon. Joyfully yours.
My feeling is that the Player mode is like bringing another musician into your session. It is an opportunity to hear different things to help spark creative ideas. We can fall all too often into our own repetitive workflows and melodies and something like this helps to shake us out of that a bit. Thanks so much for watching.
That does not sound right. Could it be something is shifting the midi note range in your daw? Not quite sure what could be happening here. I would reach out to UJam support and see what they might suggest. Thanks for watching.
Simeon, as always, you do the MOST in-depth evaluations! Thanks and God bless you.

Thanks so much Simeon, loved it esp your song, so serene
Those arps are great but you're anointed playing is far better! Grabbed it right away with the coupon offer. GBU!
Great job. Love the review. I have all 3 on a bundle deal… These are my favorite Ujam plugins. Keep up the great work. New Sub earned.
Thanks!
My pleasure Halvard, so good to see you. Joyfully!

Good Job, thank you. I just hate the fact that i'm not a passionate Pianist, like you are.
Would you say that the Player mode is for users who are not quite music theory-literate?

why it always changes what I recorded when I press play afterwards? It changes the green sections but I didn't record that

@@PraiseTracks do I have to switch to instrument after recording in play mode?
Kinda like Noire on steroids
