7:18 - This signal on the right is a double aspect with a train directly in-front occupying the block. I understand that like, trains aren't normally operating in this direction, but shouldn't that be at danger?
@ Long Green on the down side, positioned for up running, there is a double yellow signal that stays that way regardless of what's happening on the line. Seems odd. Some type of permanent distant signal on the "wrong" side for bi-directional running?
I always think the engine sound on the 350s and 360s sounds really odd when they accelerate/decelerate at low speed. Do you know what causes that sort of oscillating sound?
I had some more of a look into it and I think it's down to the way they're doing the speed control on the AC motors. On some trains it makes it sound as if they have gears, on the Desiro units it sounds like a UFO
@@andrewbailey7999 ive seen some drivers slowlyy depart stations and ive seen drivers depart quickly out of stations. I dont think i hear any difference. Unless its a 323 where it sounds like a bunch of gears
mike peters , I totally agree with you , it would appear that regular cleaning of the 90’s formations has ceased . They are disgustingly filthy . A very poor image for GA .
Further to my earlier comment , I complained to GA about filthy 90 formations and was told by GA that they do clean their fleet every day , which of course is a blatant lie .
7:53 I just love the sounds of the class 70s
I like that peep from the 86
360s starting up sound like something from Dr Who!
22:16 cool tone there

16:25 Now that's a dirty 66!

Some nice horn, particularly from the Shed near the end.

@@KaiDiesAgain The ones I know of that sound like that are the 365s, but you might be right

The GA London-Norwich fleet must be the dirtiest stock on the entire British rail network.
