@@UltrawideGC Feel like seer would be so overpowered in 2v2s if you were to code in the demos if seers teammate is going for ball and has a shot on net along with some of the stuff the pros mentioned. It's shocking how far bots have came.

This stuff is wicked cool dude lol, we certainly don't mind you asking a bunch of questions, all this is so interesting and unique i'm really glad you actually did ask a lot of stuff, it's super neat to learn about how this works and what it can do!
Imagine a bot so powerful it will do +180kph pinches at every opportunity. Ground? Sure. Wall? Definitely. Ceiling? For sure. Other cars??? No problem. That would be insane.
It's definitely possible! But it would require a lot of computing power to train and run.

@@landojr.yes but certainly not impossible considering it’s knows every single pixel on the octane hitbox, and the ball, and the wall, and the ceiling, and it can learn which pixel combinations with wall, car, ceiling, etc. produce certain trajectory.

if seer was somehow made into a plugin that could only be played in training modes or private matches (2v2/3v3 practice with a duo/team) it would be an amazing tool to improve with. I know the legal aspect of it is nearly impossible but wow what a creation.
It doesn’t really simulate real matches at all tho, because bots are really dumb in some aspects like the demos, and perfect in other aspects like the dribble bumps. Which when you are against real people, they make small mistakes that vary in every scenario from player to player. Against an ai, you’re literally just learning their play style and taking advantage of their weaknesses instead of reacting to the play and making a complex decision that only a brain could make. Could still be fun to play against them, but it won’t really improve your overall skill even with many hours against them

You asked ultrawide some great questions during the LG series, it felt like a mini interview with unique gameplay in the background - I thought I knew a lot about the bot by now watching other vids, but I learned a lot actually

Imagine if Seer v7.1 would leak to the public and infest the Ranked playlists. It would completely shift the meta because everyone would have to switch to non-Octane hitboxes to hard counter the bot 😄

The creator should definitely make bots of different levels so anyone mid GC and below can train against them

I think if they were given a more human reaction time, input time and more diverse rewards it could be an awesome way to train without changing playstyle too much so you improve for actual games

The thing about bots is they act off the data so you have to fake minor inputs to draw them into a commit without you committing from the input. Saw many moments where they did a visual fake, but without throwing any inputs that could be construed as a commit to that fake.
Actually just saw it on the second goal for orange pros. He goes to flip reset by turning and the bot expects it. Good stuff.

If it goes for the reset for the reward and then doesn’t use it, reward it for using it and that’s should encourage the bot to stay on the play instead of the tag team.

ngl this bot could be a great ones/twos trainer to lower ranked players like in champ or gc, it helps them to think more and makes them realize that their plays can have consequences if they dont think the play through.

he's gotta implement a negative reward system for when they get demo'd or when they miss the net, they just lose points and that's how you manage to give them above SSL skills like shooting the ball on net or demo dodging, I actually use demo dodging in heatseeker to deal with demoers and I'm trying to migrate that skill to normal modes, yielding, eh results
I wonder at what point ai will start to spawn demo and boost starve as part of their playstyle :)
