Thank you very much. I am over 60 years and was required to learn German for residency. It was a very difficult struggle. I took your advice and for 55 days studied a lot, but with your guidance to narrow down and define what is really needed. Still when I took the test I was disturbed by their tricks. Why do they do this? People are trying to learn a language to be able to speak or understand in a country. And the test threw trick questions and misdirections. I think that is the old way, it is very negative to teach this way and to test this way. Again, I am thankful for your tips. Be good and stay well.
Thank you so much for this!!! What a great video- it is really helpful for us who wants to study German language. Through your calm and friendly manner together with the very detailed and easy to understand material, I am now excited to continue studying. Looking forward to more learning materials from you :)
Very informative if you are really overwhelmed and don't know where to start. Thank you for sharing. I also like other short videos in your channel. They are easy to digest.
I've been self teaching myself for about a year now, I also spent 9 months with my fiance living in Germany. I also did a Goethe course and now onto obtaining my A1 certificate, as my partner and I are getting married and need to proof my language skills. I am little nervous actually. More for the speaking with the cards. I don't know why it is a little daunting for me. But thank you so much for uploading!
Gladly i found your video, self study din ako, and sometimes my fiancee get a little mad sometimes cause it's really hard to construct a sentence cause it will be different during the translation 😅😅 but your explanation here is really helpful and nkaka motivate, i will have my exam this 27th , 🙏🙏 still not really confident 🙈 but praying for a passing score 🙏

Thanks for ur guidance....it's just one thing,....I'm not able to download the pdf of sample paper in the link u have mentioned in ur description,....it would be really kind of u help me with those too 😅
You're welcome. I checked the link in my description, and I was able to download the PDF files. Please try changing browsers if it doesn't work, or if you are using your phone, maybe copy the link to another browser and do not open it in the TH-cam app. Good luck!
Hello! Thank you for this very comprehensive guide! I’ll take my exam next month!! ☺️ I have a question on how to fill in the info in the answer sheet. What should be the format of the birthdate? MM-DD-YYYY or DD-MM-YYYY? For the institution/place - what should be written here? Your answer will be so much helpful!! I only self studied so I dunno how to properly fill in these things 🙏
Hello! In Germany, the format of writing the date is dd-mm-yyyy. I believe it would be the same for the answer sheet. For the institution, if I remember correctly, this information would be coming from the examiner. If not, you can always ask before the exam starts. Best of luck on your exam and thanks for watching.
@@germanwithLMC Thank you so much for the response! I’ve been to Europe multiple times and baliktad talaga yung dates nila satin hehe. Just wanted to check with you kasi sa confirmation form na sinend nila sakin naka MM-DD-YYYY
Hello. Where did you enroll for online studies? I'm aiming to passed the A1 level. I'm an ESL Teacher but German language, especially the letter sounds are kinda weird and it makes me laugh because I look awkward 😅
Hi! For the A1 exam, I did not enroll in any school, I studied by myself. For A2-B1, I attended the language course offered in our town (I was already in Germany). I know most people go to the Goethe Institute in their respective home countries. I agree, letter sounds could be tricky 😊
When I was just starting, I downloaded almost all the free apps I could. Then I stuck with Duolingo, DW and Goethe apps. I eventually started with paid apps. I liked Memrise and Busuu. For practice exams, I really used the free practice exams from Goethe alot. I also watched listening exams that were published in TH-cam. Hope that helps.
Hi Ma'am! Heeeeeeeeelp!! How do i say in German if i cannot understand the word, what does it mean and the other one which is can you repeat it because you can't understand it? 🥺 thank you!
I don't understand - Ich verstehe nicht. What does that mean? - Was bedeutet das? Can you please repeat that? - Können Sie/Kannst du bitte das wiederholen?
Thank you, how many points do you need to pass for example if there is 4 parts and in 3 of them you get full marks, 75% but you get 0 in the 4th could you still pass?
I am not sure if you can pass if you get a 0 in one part, but what I know is you need to take part in all the four parts.
For the dictionary, I used the app called Leo. It has the articles of the nouns. I used Duolingo initially. I then got subscriptions from some paid apps. Memrise, Mondly and Mosalingua. But I also used so many free apps from the playstore. Just searched "learn german". Good luck! 😊

I studied consistently for two months before the exam date. 😊

I am not so sure. It would be pre-filled. I can only assume that it is a code that the exam center uses for their exams.
