Very nice new project Chris, fixing a leaking pond, you are the expert for these job Letsdig, any news about the new 290 excavator 😲😲😲😲😂😜😛😜😂😜😛😜😂 very nice job, looks very nice 👌😊
When re building or re sealing clay pond. Should I just use clay in pond and shape with bucket. Or push the top soil over the clay and track pack it in?
Boys them mirrors will mess a guy up.. I tried to run one before and made a total ass outa myself... worse than normal and after almost all day still couldn't hardly get it... kept thinking i was backing a trailer
Only time them shiny things aimed back at you that you check your make up with will mess you up, is when you don't use them Tater. Especially when you are careening towards overhead power lines with the bed raised up. Made a pretty fire though.
I take it there are no inspection rules for small private dams? can't understand how someone could let it get so overgrown , that those trees alone would damage the dam over time with all the root growth !
Yikes that is scary to think about , if one of those let go due to a very heavy rainfall and takes out someones home down stream ! all you get is a tough luck buddy .
heartland96a that happened to my boss here in NH. Building a dam or pond is highly regulated here. A heavy rainfall overcame a poorly built dam on property that was just purchased. Several people downstream were affected and many lawsuits and insurance claims were filed. It took 4 years of legal and permits and then hundreds of thousands of dollars to rebuild the dam and spillway. It sure as hell wasnt a pipe.
Thanks Dave , the rules very greatly from one part of the country to another .Even though this is a small pond and not a larger lake I d think it would make for a bad day if someones home were in the path of that water if it let go all at once.
Dale olson oh it will compact it all right it spreads the weight out but it sure doesn't make it go away and do the math that still a heck of a lot of lbs per square inch
.....and there's another good looking project near completion. Skillful reversing over the dam there Chris,...
Nice thanks for sharing from 🇨🇦
I rolled a Volvo articulated end dump down a birm as the soft edge gave out. Dumped my mount dew....that was the most tragic part 🤣
you make it look so easy !
great work love your vids !
Good looking job!
Good video! But I would like to see more of the removal of trees and brush.
Sweet area there and that looks like a pain in the butt to keep that dumper out of the drink lol great vid pard!
"There's the Boss man"??? Thought that was you!!😜
Ron Trent I might be wrong but I think it's his uncle.

Thank you.
Trees and dams don't work together but gives you job security.
Good looking job!
....13
Wish you were closer... exactly what my pond needs. Care to offer a ballpark figure of what a job like this would cost??
really depends on what all has to be done, could be 5k could be 20k
It's like playing tennis with yourself :) Nice work man.
Good nice
good work, how does that new excervater works out.?
was it the pump on the 290 chris ?
Can someone provide a cost estimate for this type of job? Great videos as always!

well hello logger wade i'm a sub to your channel to
Ye get the 290 sorted out?
What state are you in? I have a 26 acre pond with a leaking dam. I live in alabama.
1:20 lunch time? That's dinner time in ireland
That looks like east texas. I don't know many states with red dirt.
I know Giles County,Virginia has a lot!
why was the pond leaking
you need to do more time lapses!
So why don't we ever see a finished job? YOU KNOW A POND FULL OF WATER? 🤔🤔🤔 . I don't think I've seen one video.
you cut out the best parts

yeah there are no regulations for private ponds and lakes

Is it just the three of you all the time or do you more people that work for you?
just 3
Trying to compact with a tracked vehicle waste of fuel and machine .
Dale olson because you're the expert.
Well, he's not wrong. Tracks spread out the weight of the machine over a larger area causing less compaction to the ground underneath.
Dale olson oh it will compact it all right it spreads the weight out but it sure doesn't make it go away and do the math that still a heck of a lot of lbs per square inch
Dale olson it is but if spread out thin with quality fill it should be fine plus the haul truck on top
