Creations adventure inspired from different countries
I really disprove of adding round earth imagery... The writers did believe the earth as flat.... Psalm 24 says the earth is Lord's. Therefore he has the ONLY authority to claim it's shape and size as he's the only reliable witness. I do NOT believe men more than God.

Some points on creation stry, some of us miss:
1. God creates day and night on fourth day, so division of light and darkness must refer to the birth of stars and galaxies in the Universe, also a reference for the resurrection of Christ on Sunday
2. God calls the whole material of Universe as "waters", as He names actual oceans as "sea" only after division from the earth
3. Sky is a reference for the athmosphere, which divides the Earth from the space (upper waters)
4. Sun, Moon and stars were made to be seen on fourth day on the SKY, aka athmosphere became clean enough to be seen for our purposes.
5. The only survived kinds of dinosaurs are the birds, according to modern science. God created sea beings (including Cambrian animals) and birds (so, including dinosaurs!) on the fifth day
6. Then, God created mammals, and humans last
7. Day is 24 hours on planet Earth, but differs by planet and speed, as theory of relativity says. Bible says a day of God equals 1000 years. So, the 7 days of perfect creations could be any long, not neccessarily 148 hours!

Your animation is inaccurate when describing the Firmament (or the vault as you've named it) . The Sky separates the waters and the Sun , the Moon and ALL other lights are IN THE FIRMAMENT. If I may, please, check out Rob Skiba's work on the subject. Also, I'd like to mention that the so called "SNAKE " aka the Devil, in Hebrew is Nachash, which also means "The Shinening One. I strongly recommend to check out the work of Trey Smith.

Bible says it's a firmament, not a vault.
kjv calls it a firmament but every other bible calls it an expanse or space. and if there was a dome over the earth then how did the asteroids fall through the dome instead of hitting it?

Genesis 1:2 Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of deep, and the spirit of God over waters.
I have wonder about that question: the water. I know God used that same water to made the sky and ocean in the second day. I want to talk about that mysterious water. Bible said God was hovering over waters before description of word was formless and empty. That is mean the waters was already there as formless and empty (void) or I did miss anything?
@davidplatt8308-This is what it says in the Hebrew-"In beginning Elohim (as in God began by) the Aleph and the Tav (as in the first and the last, the beginning and the end, the Alpha and the Omega) God on the cross=Aleph is the God/first letter and the Tav/the cross, the last letter, created the Heavens=SHAMAYIM and the Earth. the word for waters is MAYIM so the waters were in the heavens which is where earth is, in the heavenS. it depends on the version you are reading, in king james it’s firmament but in the new international version it is in fact vault

Sooo, 3 days had passed before god created the "two great lights" (and the stars), and he had created all plants even before we had the "greater light" (aka sun)??? How had 3 days passed if there was no sun (or moon)? Did he know that plants need sunlight to grow? Yeeeeesus! two verses into this book of fables and there's already more non-sense that we can keep up with. How can anyone believe this is true? 2 year-olds?
Because it was the world before sin came, the world need not the light from the sun as it's only source, also the trees needed not light as it's source, it just do so according to the LORD. After the fall, the garden of Eden was also fall, now the trees needed light, water and nutritions in the earth to survive and be fruitful. That aspect is easy to understand.
God is the light of the world. He was the light in the beginning and will be the new light in the end.
