I think the story of him coming to the Sharks is great between his year for the Jr Sharks, his dad's job with the Dubs, and the fact that he's going to BU which has significant ties to GMMG and Quinn, but spending a year somewhere isn't growing up there.

Question for Canadian hockey fans: who was the last true dynamic duo that were both Canadian? Isn't it curious that every dynamic duo (other than Mackinnon & Makar, but one is a forward and the other is a defenseman) is always a non-Canadian? Toews & Kane, Sakic & Forsberg, Yzerman & Fedorov, Crosby & Malkin, McDavid & Draisaitl, Lemieux & Jagr. Isn't it about time we had a dynamic forward duo both of whom are Canadian? I think Gretzky & Messier were the last true Canadian-Canadian forward dynamic duo. It's for this reasons alone that I want Chicago to get Celebrini. The great Canadian dynamic duo of Bedard & Celebrini. No need to worry about a Kane/Malkin/Forsberg/Jagr/Fedorov/Draisaitl stealing the thunder from one another.
It was not meant to be, I suppose. But, who knows. Sharks have Pittsburgh's 1st round pick and for whatever reason, Berkly Catton is falling in the 2024 NHL Draft rankings. I would take Catton 2nd overall without hesitation. One of the most dominant draft eligible seasons in WHL history and he's dropping in the rankings. Here's hoping it becomes a thing. Or maybe McKenna in a few years could still wind up on one of: Sharks (Celebrini); Chicago (Bedard); or Columbus (Fantilli). It has to happen at some point right? Forget Canada's cup drought. What about Canada's dynamic duo drought? Benn & Seguin were star players. But not superstar, bordering on generational level. Same for Stamkos and St. Louis.
This video is not about who deserves it the most but which teams need it the most. Otherwise penguins and especially chicago would not be on this list. They do not deserve them at all...
I'd prefer the Habs get a winger this draft though obviously if they pick first Celebrini is a no brainer unless they decide to trade that FOA pick for an established youngish NHL superstar. Would this be feasible and for who? Leon Draisaitl? Would the Oilers go for it?
Or mtl trades some of the dmen they have for a high end forward maybe even trade mailoux and draft Zayne perekh. Trust me zayne is insane on the back end. He's compared to Karlsson with better defence

Great Video, as usual, Nathan. My Chicago Blackhawks not only need him, but, they've got to get him, as Kane & Toews during Chicago's last rebuild in The Late 90s. Chicago likely will win The Draft & get him as #1 & get criticize like last year, even though they didn't have A Last Place Finish that they're having now.
You Chicago fans have become entitled. To think you guys deserve him the most 😂… Literally the vast majority of fans believe there was foul play in the last lottery. You guys had 3 cups in 5 years and cemented yourself as a dynasty. Upon losing your marquee players you immediately got another one, and now you feel entitled to a second? 🤦. The Sharks are by far the more deserving team. They should were by far the worst team last year too. Only reason they didn’t completely bottom out in an all out embarrassing fashion was because EK65.
@@kialbonetti1997 Thank You for your comment & opinion. I screamed at A Birthday Party/Jam when The Chicago Blackhawks got the #1 pick last year. Everyone thought that I got hurt. LOL. I think that David Quinn has The San Jose Sharks playing on life support too well to bottom out, but, we'll see. I have a funny feeling that The Chicago Blackhawks are going to be #1, but, if they don't, so be it.
You’ve got it wrong, we don’t feel entitled to celebrini, or that we deserve him more than the sharks, we just like to say we’ll get him to make fans mad because they already are so what do we have to lose@@kialbonetti1997
We actually need a Defensemen or a Monster Goal Scorer. We have Centers Bedard Dickinson and Nazar and Moore will be up here next year.We need Levshonov or Silayev
@@Creatorfragments Wait until Summer. I have a feeling Chicago is going to acquire them. LOL
Red wings!!!
And 2026 Bedard's cousin McKenna...
Blackhawks
Red Wings need him most
I'm going to be biased. The Sens
Blackhawks 🤘🤘🤘🚨🚨🚨🤞🤞🤞
Macklin.celebrini.big.deal.chicago.blackhawks.
SJ 🦈
San Jose’s gm needs to go in order for the rebuild to be successful if he stays I wouldn’t be surprised if the rebuild fails massively
Pitt at second most, no way, They have three recent Stanley cups with Sid.
Toronto who hasten one a cup since 67 would need him more than Pitt.
San Jose, Arizona or Chicago are my picks of where I’d like to see him go.
I want to see San Jose get him but obviously the "best fit" would be 2C in Chicago lol
Found the shitcago fan. Thats not obvious at all, #1 center potential but best fit is in Chicago lol. SJ is the only team without a #1 center or #1 center prospect.
@@connorloughnane1534
Depends what we mean by best fit. I'm answering the question: "where would Celebrini win the most?"
We know the league wont let him go anywhere but Pittsburgh
If the habs land him he would be the last piece of the puzzle
I know Cole Eiserman is falling like a rock, but as a Hawks fan, it'd be fun watching Bedard feeding him three or four passes a game. That is, if they fall to three.
He will fall to 5-10. Possibly down to 12.
Penguins legend
As a sharks fan it would mean everything to get this Bay Area king on the sharks. Plus a future line of
Eklund Celebrini Zetterlund
Bystedt Smith Musty
Would do some damage.
Celebrini to the Hawks, so twitter can burn 😂
He already has chemistry with Lane Hutson.. just saying ;-)
Don't get your hopes up on it. Even if we lost the next 17 games in regulation in a row the Sharks would still need at least go 11-7-0 at the end of the year. Realistically the lowest we may finish is 4th last. We're not worse then any of the bottom 3 teams and Columbus isn't too far behind.
@@4u2nvHock3y Well, you never know... the Devils got the 1st overall for Hischer from far, it can happen... sure it's rare, but it's time to have some luck
Devils need to package J. Hughes to San Jose for the 1st Overall and take Celebrini
Are you high?
@@bradymeans6321nah this guy's on DMT
Don’t overlook the fact that Celebrini has developed insane chemistry with Lane Hutson, who is also a Habs prospect
Are you concerned with Otters 'performance"?
habs need a "FORWARD START"
right now the red wings they casually pissing away a playoff spot
jeez look at Lane Hutson on that list
him with bedard would be great but knowing chicago will glaze bedard forever and wont get that kid any help
Chicago won 3 cups in 2010s
@@Penguinzero1 okay and
Yo....but how do the Penguins happen?
What do you mean? They’re currently sitting at 10, thus a 3.5% chance at winning the lottery. The first round pick is top 10 protected; should they win a top 10 pick, they’d get to choose whether they convey the pick to SJ in 2024 or 2025.
The caps could really use him bad to
Habs
I feel like Calgary should be number one who in their prospect pool do you see being a center? Besides maybe Zary.
Ottawa
Celibrini-stüzle would be fire 🔥
That center core would be wild :O
@@isky123 right! Stutzle can give diving lessons to Celebrini!!!
CBJ, He would slot in perfectly behind Fantilli and they desperately need him.
Chicago already has Bedard and people with want to play with him already, not so much with CBJ
NOT PITTSBURGH
3.5% chance haha
Blackhawks are in desperate need of talent. They need him! 😏
Cbj
Also do you think bedard would demand a trade to whichever team gets mckenna so he can play with his cousin?
Flames is the only answer. Never had a top 3 pick in the history of the franchise.
He’s going to Pittsburgh it’s rigged I’ll bet money on it they always seem to have a star player
Blackhawks are still terrible and need him the most
Most needed by Houston when Sens move there to kickoff their franchise
Cele-Hawks with Bedsy !!
I seriously hope we can get him 🤞 if we can next season is gonna be crazy😅😅
Id like him in montreal but the sharks need him more for sure !
Celebrini will win more Stanley Cups than Auston Matthews.
cant wait until Chicago gets him and this entire comments section melts down.
😂 you would only win a cup because of Canada not happening
Exactly ❤❤
@@jimmybobby1652 what are you talking about? We had Patrick kane our teams for 15 seasons. We had a mix of Canadian American and European guys on our team when we won the 3 cups
Minnesota……with a player like Mac they’d have the best prospect pool in the the league.
From reading the comments, it's obvious that nobody realizes that in the last SIXTY YEARS, the Hawks have had exactly TWO first overall picks. If they did, the idiotic talk of the league rigging things for Chicago would end. But since we're talking about hockey fans, maybe not.
That’s not a super relevant stat, though. The Penguins have ‘only’ picked #1 overall three times (and one of those was from a trade). The Blue Jackets have only picked once, and THAT was also via trade.
Ottawa I want to see them win a draft lottery for once theyve been garbage forever and the closest to 1st overall theyve been is 3rd even with the best odds in the 2020 NHL draft Im happy with Stutzle over Laf though
Ottawa is good on paper they need to figure it out. They absolutely do not deserve the first overall
The Detroit Red Wings.
Montreal... Desperately
😂😂😂
Who needs him the most is Chicago but the best team for him in these top 7 would be montreal. Yes I'm a montreal fan but he's already got chemistry with hutson and mtl could use a true number 1 center. Suzuki could be a good number 1 but imagine him being bumped to 2nd and at 7-8 mil that's a good contract. Celebrini would be awesome on that roster
I dont think chicago needs him the most lol, definitely the sharks, hawks are #2
@@LucyBatman sharks have prospects all over. Chicago only has bedard lol
