国内最大級のクリンソウ群生地!!ぶらり旅 第446回「兵庫県:ちくさ湿原」-アクセス,駐車場,見頃,絶景,絶滅危惧種,ハイキング-Chikusa Marsh,Primrose

ふらっと出かけた場所を紹介しようと思います。
2024年5月に兵庫県宍粟市にある「ちくさ湿原」に行きました。
ちくさ湿原群生地は、ちくさ高原キャンプ場の道路をはさんだ向かい側より入園口を設け、園内には大小７ヵ所の群生地、40万株にもおよぶ県の絶滅危惧種に指定されているクリンソウが咲き誇ります。
県内有数の規模で群生するクリンソウの小径を楽しめます。
秋には広々とした高原にモミジの他、ブナやケヤキなどが色づき、周囲を真紅に染めます。
クリンソウ：5月中旬～6月中旬
紅葉：10月下旬～11月上旬

花は下の方から階層（段）になって次々と咲いて、その姿がお寺の屋根の先端についている九輪に似ているところから名前が付きました。
北海道から本州、四国の山間部に分布する多年草で、湿り気のある環境を好み山野のせせらぎや渓谷の湿地に自生し、草丈は大きなものでは90cmほどになり、サクラソウ科の中でもっとも大型の部類となります。
クリンソウは成長する段階で５～７段の花を順々に咲かせ、３・４段目の花が咲いた頃、花の終わった１段目は種になりはじけ飛びます。
同時に花がつくのは３段程度だそうです。
クリンソウは、「暑さに弱く」「寒さに強い」という特性を持ちます。
乾燥や水切れには非常に弱く、湿地であるが故に、スギ、ヒノキなどの植林には適さず、広葉樹の下の適度な日照が最適の環境を生んだそうです。

I would like to introduce some places I visited on a whim.
In May 2024, I went to Chikusa Marsh in Shiso City, Hyogo Prefecture.
The entrance to the Chikusa Marsh is across the road from the Chikusa Highland Campground, and within the park there are seven colonies of various sizes, with as many as 400,000 plants of pristine lilies, a species designated as endangered by the prefecture, blooming in full glory.
You can enjoy the paths lined with pristine lilies, one of the largest colonies in the prefecture.
In autumn, the wide plateau is colored with maples, beeches, zelkova trees, and other trees, turning crimson red.

The flowers bloom one after another in tiers from the bottom up, and are named after the nine-ring shape that resembles the top of a temple roof.
It is a perennial plant found in the mountainous areas of Hokkaido, Honshu, and Shikoku. It prefers moist environments and grows naturally in the babbling brooks of mountains and fields, and in the marshes of valleys. The largest plants grow to about 90cm tall, making it one of the largest plants in the Primula family.
As it grows, Primula japonica produces 5 to 7 tiers of flowers, one after the other. When the 3rd and 4th tiers of flowers have bloomed, the first tier of flowers turns to seeds and bursts into flight.
It is said that only about 3 tiers of flowers bloom at the same time.
Primula japonica is characterized by being "weak to heat" and "resistant to cold."
It is very weak to dryness and lack of water, and because it is a marshland, it is not suitable for planting cedars or cypresses, so the moderate sunlight under broadleaf trees creates an ideal environment.
