On November 4 2008, exactly 40 years and 7 months since the loss of MLK ~God gave Americans the opportunity to do his will. Similar to the framers of the country who penned the Declaration the Independence-all men are created equal-and Lincoln who signed the Emancipation Proclamation, and Thurgood Marshall who wrote the petitions in Brown vs Board of education decision, we were able to use our hands to elect a man who personifies the words that they wrote. The joy I find in knowing that our votes were a peaceful tool of change-unlike those tools wielded in the Revolutionary War, the Civil War and the civil unrest of the 60's-is the beauty of this election. With peaceful hands we've elected a man who stands for peace, who's promised to work to end bloodshed and get our economy out of the red!

I grew up with all the best Gospel music! From the winans too! Among many others! On the Sabbath day! Every Sabbath on Saturdays!- not Sundays!! I loved singing them all! Since I was a child! And still do!- today! In my Fifties!! Praise the Lord for that!

When I say to yall that on July 23, 1974 I woke up on a Tuesday morning with no intentions of giving my heart to Jesus. I walked on the Streets of Compton got high almost OD'd and then cried out for my Moma (nothing happened) called on Jesus.....Well Lets just say, I'm still saved and now baptized with the Holy Ghost. Jesus put me under arrest, I put my hands up and I thank him for that. Fast forward 55 and still love Jesus. Renee

it gets to me everytime! thats his spirit working in me! praise the lord! hallelujah on Gods sabbath day from friday night to saturday night thats right! wake up world this is the lords day every saturday not on sundays!!! read the proof in his word in the old testament and new! start from the beginning in genesis chapter 2! and exodus ch:20:8-11! jesus kept the sabbath read in matthew 12;8! and in mark 2:28-30! happy sabbath to all of Gods true people!😃
