We're Back to the Sofa watching a request from subscribers and members alike! Our first (and only) viewing of "Blown Away" a two Corey's action film! Or as we discover, it's more of a slight action more male nudity romp. Thanks for the request "fans"!

Maybe this movie's action is all the action cory is getting.
My son and I met Corey Haim at a Horrorhound convention about six months before he died. He was so sweet and genuine. He gave my son a signed t-shirt. He was completely clean and so ready to make new movies.
We were so sad when we heard he passed away.
They literally were playing themselves in this movie!!! Haim was always gullible, and Feldman was always scheming behind Haims back. Haim was really dating Nicole Eggert at that time, and Feldman was jealous of all the women Haim could get........like also Alyssa Milano.........Feldman was probably relieved when Haim died.
Had no idea about the dating and yes, upon multiple viewings, Feldman was "acting" extremely well.
Feldman holds grudges
He probably turned on charlie sheen cuz he stole Ginger Lynn who he later accused of sleeping with him when he was under age
How this movie failed to win an Oscar is beyond reality? Hot chicks, soft porn, incredible acting and directing. Move over Titanic because this move rocks

Nicole Eggert and Corey Haim were engaged in real life. She left him because his addiction got so bad, but I believe they had a pretty crazy relationship or ending. Look it up if you're interested. It was big news in the early 90s

She made so many mistakes. I had a huge crush on her when I was a kid (Charles in Charge) that I watched die with every story I read about her throughout my life. Oh, wait… I thought that was FELDMAN. No, Haim is ok. Engaged to the creep, not so much.
I always remember this movie as triple career suicide. Corey, Corey and the girl from Charles and charge.

Wow, I haven't thought about this movie in ages. We had it at the video store I worked at as a kid. I didn't remember any details, but I remember not liking it. I recall another film of the same name releasing a couple years after this and a lot of customers got confused and would rent this one by mistake, despite the other being a Tommy Lee Jones thriller. It got so bad we started verifying this was the movie people actually wanted.
May I ask...what were some of the worst movies people insisted on renting? Were there people that rented the same movie over and over. So many questions!
@@Back2TheSofa Oh, man, we had so many bad movies. We were a mom n' pop operation, so no corporate ties on what we had to have, or weren't allowed to have. Some of the worst ones we had that were regularly checked out were the "American Ninja", "Gator Bait", and "Ilsa" series, (the latter of which were essentially soft-core bondage flicks). The low budget straight to VHS sequels to "Kickboxer", "Iron Eagle", and "The Howling" were always very popular too. And yes, we had some people that would regularly rent the same things over and over. "Dirty Dancing" and "Home Alone" were a couple that younger customers seemed to rent repeatedly.
I think Corey, being a raging Narcissist demands that he must sing and dance in ANYTHING that he is in.
It's funny that he mention Scott Baio right when Nicole comes on screen. She was on Charles In Charge with Baio. Just thought that was coincidentally very strange.

Don't you hate movies when people inexplicably appear out of nowhere. Like Corey Haim magically appears sitting down in the bedroom to watch Feldman and Nicole Eggert finish up. I mean, the guy's car blew up, he gets with the cops, they put a wire on him and he clears his name while watching his girlfriend and brother get...."blown away". Quite the movie.

Himself mother said the guy that actually molested Haim this Dominic guy. He's the fat guy with the candy bar in Friday the 13th A New Begining. Anyway she takes Haim to the set of Blown Away and who's there Dominoc with Feldman. Haim said mom let's go. She said Feldman was yelling for him to come back.
Feldman knew who Dominic was he introduced him to Haim. He knew what he did to Haim.
If that's not twisted enough Haim was dating Edgart during this movie and Feldman has the scene making our with her.
Haim's mother said he didn't talk to Feldman after that day until The Two Corey's almost 20 years later.
Yeah Feldman is a real sick person.
His mother knew it was Dominic because Haim called her from Dominic's screaming for help. She got there and Dominic was on top of him. She almost killed him with a pool cue.
She said Haim didn't want to do anything about it. He told her he just wanted to forget it.

Ive mentioned this before on another video I think but you guys should review "The Dream Machine" with Corey Haim. Its a B-movie but its actually not bad. License to Drive 2 in a way. No "Feldawg" included.
"Getting Blown, ... Away" They should've at least had some creepy 3some while dirty talking about murdering someone together, then Haim has a Come To Jesus moment and turns the other 2 in to a group of police and that Lost Boys song in the background at the end.
The only complaint I ever had with Haim was the mouth thing. 1st noticed it in The Lost Boys, and couldn't un-see it anytime after. Feldman has always come off as a prick, on and off screen. Never heard anything bad about Haim, unlike Feldman who most likely helped push Haim further and further in the wrong direction. Then with the ultimate POS move by trying to profit from Haim's death! Just like he's trying to profit from MJ's.

This movie came out around the time that “Basic Instinct” created a lot of wanna be erotic thrillers.
Although the movie is trash, it is a big step up from the other stuff the Corey’s were doing at the time. Stuff like “Dream a Little Dream 2” and “National Lampoon’s Last Resort”. Corey Haim was actually a decent actor. Feldman was going for the Nic Cage school of over acting in this one.
I remember watching this when it first came out when i was 10yo either on cinemax or hbo. When u guys were talking about blown way as an action movie i couldn't stop laughing! For some reason i forgot Feldman was even in it. I always remembered it as the Corey Haim and girl from charles in charge movie.

Feldman is acting. The cinematographer is doing a great job. The bgm sounds appropriate. I used to make movies in college. This feels like a bunch of people got together some cash and did the best they could for amateurs. And Feldman is doing so good. Weird. Nice Star Trek guitar.
As a drug user who’s 17 years clean I don’t believe Feldman was a heroin user. All the crap I’ve seen with him in it I never once show signs of it. Haim on the other hand you clearly could see in many movies wasn’t healthy. It’s so obvious. I think Feldman is a massive liar and just said it for attention. I really do. Sure I bet he did coke back in the day. Who didn’t. I just don’t believe he had some major issue. I think he thinks it makes him look like a deep person. He’s such a weirdo. Won’t admit MJ was a massive creep.
Don't forget Nicole from Baywatch in this movie
At that time Basic Instinct had come out and was a huge hit
so the filmmakers were trying to make a teenage version
of Basic Instinct.
But the sex scenes are absolutely embarrassing and there is too many of them.
I think the director totally went exploitative with the nudity of the young actors.

Watched Corey in action, and literally threw the DVD into the tree's behind my building where some lucky squirrel retrieved it for its nest.
