I agree, that Sol Horizon was definitely the best! For a camper under 5000 lbs I think the Forest River R-Pod 202 with the separate shower, fireplace, outdoor kitchen, separate bed, lots of storage, and nice windows are great. The price it is nice. I do love the one you chose, though.

Great tours of those small RVs. We saw the T@B and the Barefoot at the show and while they are cute, they are very small. We agree about the InTech. In fact we almost settled on the inTech before Airstream. Really great seeing you at the show. 😊

Hey Rich, glad to see you’re back in action. Hope you’re feeling better. The Lance was one that we looked at to replace our Little Guy Max but we wanted a north/south bed.
Another option might be a used Airstream? We used a port-a-potty (cassette like toilet) in the three of our trailers. It was very convenient to dump, since you could do it at off hours, instead of lining up and waiting your turn. It also had it's own water tank, so you weren't using your fresh water. Now we have gone to a Nature's Head "composting" toilet.

Thanks for watching! Actually, ST tires are more important for dual axle trailers. This is because of the severe forces applied to the sidewall as the closely spaced tires turn (one sidewall is pushed "outwards" whereas the other is forced "inwards"). The added sidewall rigidity of the ST help to avoid damage during these maneuvers. However, even on a single axle the sidewall strength helps to maintain the proper contact patch on the road should the trailer start to sway. Also, the rubber compound of ST tires is designed to withstand periods of extended storage common to winter storage of a trailer.
