    Just a tip especially if you're alone, put serious emergency first aid etc in your backpack, because if you come off and need a splint or tourniquet etc but your bikes gone off a cliff then you're fooked.

      The plan was to pack 2. One smaller kit on my person. Thanks for watching!

    I've been camping since the early 1970s and gear has changed a lot in that time. I don't hike or bicycle or whitewater kayak anymore but I'm now moto camping with my G310GS. I always enjoy seeing what other people pack although I lean toward ultralight motorcycle camping, as my TH-cam name indicates. 🙂

    Excellent video.
    The G 310 GS rocks!
    And if you look around TH-cam more and more hard core adventure riders are going for the 300 cc segment… itchy Boots is one of them…
    Great content so far… please keep making more videos on the 310!
    I fitted Givi hard panniers on my 2021 and can’t wait for better weather to come to Jersey and start riding again.
    Cheers!

    The best vid on packing for not just a week’s worth but for longer journeys I’ve seen yet. Especially helpful to see how each section of your “house” is packed within the Reckless 80 set-up. I usually travel with a centre duffel and soft bags against side racks. But for fly-to-ride situations, the Reckless 80 looks like the way to go, especially where camping is involved. Fantastic to see how it all fits and mounts so efficiently on your 310. Thank you!

    Thanks for this video. I love seeing what other people take and how they carry it. That's doubly true when they're riding a G310GS. I love mine. I just wish it had a 5 gallon fuel tank.
    I'm coming at motorcycle camping through the lens of 50 years of ultralight camping (backpacking, mountain biking, canoeing, kayaking). My one concession to comfort over ultralight and compact gear was a camp chair. I try to fit everything into a single 66 liter roll top dry duffel that I place on the pillion and rear rack, inline instead of transverse as most people carry top bags. I don't like it hanging out in the air causing drag, nor catching on trees or rocks on the rare occasion that my old man adventures are on single track. My first aid kit is smaller than yours but my tool roll is a bit larger. I have a Hennessy lay flat hammock that's more comfortable than my bed at home. I added poles and pegs so I can pitch it as a tent but the Haven hammock is a better design for dual use.
    The weather is finally warm enough for motorcycle camping. I'm looking forward to a long weekend trip next week, from central Kentucky to northern Georgia and back, probably through South Carolina to visit a friend.

    thank you for such a detailed video of all the gear and way you pack. I'm new to all of this and was worried the mosko 80 pack would be too big for the 310gs but here you are going a whole week on it!

    So happy to see this video, I have been looking to see if the reckless system would work on a 310. You need to do a luggage only video for the 310. I put the tusk smaller bags on the crash bars up front. Keep up the video's

    Would you be able to demonstrate how you keep your bike clean/maintenance? The bike itself just look spotless on these videos! Show us your ways haha

      I use to detail cars as a hobby. I use to try and keep the bikes clean but started to like the dirty look better. Hahah. But honestly just an electric pressure washer and some elbow grease.

      @@ADVLARRY you know, I am always looking at other bikes, thinking I can find one better for my needs. I work for a motorcycle dealer, and I have ridden dozens of different bikes....but so far I am always happy to get back on my 310. 🙂

      @@ADVLARRY Thanks! I guess my biggest question is how well the bike might fit a bigger rider. I'm 6'4" and ~230 lbs. The local dealer doesn't have any in stock, so I can't really go try one out.

    I have a similar setup ,my 310 is a 2021 one question I have is about the first aid kit, did I miss how you attached it was it with Velcro only and I do carry a soft water bladder and a fixed blade knife. so far the little GS is great. this summer I plan to do a few BDR’s so I will see how it holds up to some off road punishment I’m sure it will do good as there are a lot of guys riding the heck out of these little bikes. anyway sorry for the rambling comments

    • @ADVLARRY
      @ADVLARRY  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      All good brother. The first aid kit has a detachable large velcro backing that threads into the Molly webbing. The Velcro holds the kit on and also a strong strap that goes around it. I wish I had more time to show you guys stuff but I’m trying to keep these videos under 30 mins.

    nice...im sure there are plenty of new riders, like myself, that are looking for some help with even the basics. it can be a little daunting considering how much info is out there. much appreciated again bro.
    I have a question about the power supply...is there a limit on how much power you can use? not so much something that draws or needs high power like a fridg etc , but more or less what you have already fitted + say a usb adapter with say 4-5 plugs all charging? I'm sure I've seen some of those 4-5 adapters on other bikes, mainly inside the tank bag - they may be part of the bag as in incorporated into it.
    i like the idea of solar panel on that batt. pack.
    quality reviews man! well done

      @ADVLARRY  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Honestly I’m not sure. I bring 2 power banks. My bike also has a usb so I can charge my phone while I’m riding. Also if the phones full on power I change up the power bank.

    Thanks for another great video. Seeing the mosko reckless 80 on your 310 took away my doubts of it fitting mine.
    Did the akra exhaust make much difference besides weight savings and are you worried about cracking the carbon fiber if (when) you drop it? Is it too loud?
    Finally, saw the motoz tires in the background. I'd be interested in which model they are and a review after you get some miles on them.
    Thanks again!!

    • @ADVLARRY
      @ADVLARRY  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks for checking out the new video! The Reckless 80 really is perfect for the 310.
      The akra isn't actually carbon fiber, although it has some real carbon fiber pieces the main body is wrapped. It is pretty loud but i managed to not go crazy on a long trip. With the help of ear plugs. I will say for short around town trips its a lot fun of to have an obnoxiously loud bike. (living out my teenage years) Honestly teamed up with the high flow k&n filter i feel a difference.
      So you saw my babies? hahaha I can't wait to get those on the 310. Im actually trying them out to see if i want them on my 850. They are the Tractionator Adventure tires. And i will be sure to do a review on them!
      Thanks again for watching!!

      @@ADVLARRY Thanks, I have one of the Ram suction cups I use on other vehicles, but I’m not running a aftermarket windshield on my 310. I put 25mm bar risers on and have Barkbusters. I haven’t found a windshield that will all full lock.

    • @ADVLARRY
