Best thing I ever did with a two story house was have a basket at the top and a basket at the bottom. That way when you have multiple things that need to go up or down you can just grab the basket and switch them out as you go. They even sell ones on Amazon that "sit on" the stairs that look really cute. Good luck in your new place looks great!
Hi Jessica... great video! I have a suggestion and it worked for me. Keep a basket at the bottom of the stairs for anything that has to go up. It saves a lot of trips and clutter downstairs. Love how the bathrooms turned out. 🤗🩷
Yes girl, my oldest daughter just started high school and it’s her first time riding the bus so I know exactly how you feel, but I still drive my 5th grader to school😶 I’ve been driving them since pre-k so the break is definitely deserved!!!

Believe me I was raised in a two store floor townhouse in Puerto Rico, so I got used to going up and down the stairs, but it gets anyone tired.😂😂 One thing I loved about a house of two floors is if you have anyone for a quick visit don't have to worry to much if upstairs is messy cause no one will go up there having a half bath downstairs. You are an inspiration for me to get things done girl I was seeing your video and started my laundry and wash my dishes. 😂 Thanks and God bless your family.
Everything is coming together nicely. In my first home I had a Dyson canister vacuum and a cheap upright for the front door carpet, but I had almost no carpet in that house. My second home I had central vac so only a hose to drag around and the parts. But it’s definitely easier to have what you need on each floor that way you’re not dragging your stuff up and down stairs. I think you’re figuring things really well, so you’ll find what works for you. It’s definitely different than most of the places you had before, hopefully you like having two floors. But at least it’s a fresh start which is nice. It’s funny because I thought you looked tinier and then you said that, I remember you mentioned before how tiny you got when your kids were smaller because of stress, I am sorry you had to go through that again, but your here now and things will be better, which makes me happy 😃. Enjoyed your video I can’t wait for your next one, because I am looking forward to seeing how you decorate everything. I am thinking there’s going to be a party after all this once you’re settled in, what should the theme be for it??😆 What kind of weird stuff do people do with feet or leg shots 😳😳😳, these are things I need to know?? Yes, loving the new house cleaning already. I'm excited to see how you decorate everything, especially for the holidays. I keep a basket downstairs that we fill up during the day with things that need to go upstairs & vice versa upstairs. It makes hauling things much easier & it's become a part of our everyday cleaning routine. Keeping the downstairs clean literally makes me feel like the entire house is clean because those are the areas we "touch" the most.
I like to keep my smaller cordless vacuum upstairs I can go in and out all of the rooms easily and my heavy duty one down stairs where we eat and stuff 😊

I loovvee the fact that your washer and dryer is upstairs with you!! My mom had a townhouse where we had to go all the way down to the basement (3 floors) to wash our clothes.. which wasn't a big deal when you're a teen, but as a mom today if I had stairs in my home I would rather have the washer and dryer upstairs!! I love this house for yall! Oan; You'll get used to the stairs dont worry! 😅😊🎉
Oh, yes, it’s so nice to have the washer & dryer in the basement. Not! Climbing two flights of stairs fifty times a day so I get what you’re saying. Your stairs should have a handrail on both sides to prevent falls.
Omg the tension rod for the shows curtains are so annoying. After many months mine decided to come down🤦🏾♀️ it was so hard to put it back up there. I gave up many times 😅
