Its always amazing what the soul can endure as long as there is music to give it a voice. From the cotton fields to the coal wars to the railroad barons to the battle fields. Hell itself may be endured as long as there is music.

your so right in saying, it’s complicated!!!!
just reading the book from net sublette „ cuba and it’s music“
this book should be compulsory in schools for learning about the worlds unbelievable horrifying history of slave business
probably starts as early as human beings evolved on the planet!
how could the pharaohs build the pyramids ???????

Chattel Slavery was the worst!! The Pyramids were not built by Hebrew slaves, but by paid workers. Everything in the Bible is not factual, please study Egyptian(Kemetic) History.

William Smith Monroe (/mənˈroʊ/; September 13, 1911 - September 9, 1996) was an American mandolinist, singer, and songwriter, who created the bluegrass music genre. Because of this, he is often called the "Father of Bluegrass". The origin of bluegrass music can be traced to the people who migrated to America in the 1600s from Ireland, Scotland, and England and brought with them basic styles of music that are generally considered to be the roots of modern bluegrass music. The hill country was settled by a wave of immigrants from these countries called the, " Scotch Irish." They brought their instruments and music with them which became the roots of American bluegrass music.

@@christiancampbell4940 absolutely not. Thats revisionist history. Africans didn't invent the banjo...now its even claimed Africans invented the jig and clogging lol.
