This is a great way to learn. It is helping me a lot for the most part. I say for the most part because in this lecture video you keep repeating the sentence "Keratin is a water proofing protein" but in actuality, its not. Keratin is a WATER RESISTANT protein and therefore makes the skin water resistant. If the skin were to be water proof, then we would not be able to sweat because we would not be able to absorb water.
Currently taking A&P right now and my prof is awful and doesn't really teach so having to teach myself. These videos are amazing! Thank you so much! So easy to understand and follow.
I never necessarily struggled too much with Anatomy and Physiology until now (I'm taking a Medical Terminology class right now and everything is hitting me all at once when it's been over a year since I've been exposed to this information), you have been the BEST at explaining the body systems. It all makes PERFECT sense and you keep it interesting. Thank you :)
