Can you teach my radiologist this? I ordered a CXR because a PICC line on my patient was sluggish and I saw on the CXR it was kinked, but the radiologist just said that it was "in situ in the RA".

Kinking can certainly be an issue, and we’d look for an acute angle change in the line on CXR. Usually you’d notice some issue with the line clinically

What is the cause of a broken picc line??? I have a 1.9cm pice stuck in my chest and I'm having swelling in my left arm and ĺeg is it possible to have it removef??
