Mini Excavator brush cutter clearing overgrown trails! Construction attachments 42" HD cutter

I love this heavy duty mini excavator brush cutter! Join me today in the field for Part 1 of 2 of another mini series as I take out my bobcat e42 r2 series mini excavator and the Construction attachments 42" heavy duty brush cutter, that can cut up to 6" material! Today I'll be cleaning up the newly created trail system at our Southern Illinois Project 291 investment property project. This dense forest was so thick that shortly after we cleared a brand new trail system on this Project 291 property all of the trees, brush and undergrowth started growing into and over the new trail system since there was now some sunlight on the new trails! Operating this mini excavator brush cutter is such a treat, as it is really like one of the world's biggest weed whackers that you get to operate from the air conditioned cab of the bobcat e42 mini excavator! In today's episode I'll be using my Bobcat e42 R2 series mini excavator and my 42" Construction attachments HD mini excavator brush cutter. This mini excavator brush cutter is rated to cut up to 6 inch trees, although I prefer not to cut many more than 4 inches, simply to preserve the life if this brush cutter. Today we'll have some fun as usual and share that, we'll get some great video of the Bobcat e42 R series in action, and other unique views and content. I have the same Bobcat with the closed cab. Been wanting a cutter for it but it worries me that the blades will sling something into or through my glass. You ever experience any of that?

So far no, but I made my own polycarbonate windshield for it. Also the likely is very minimal if you keep the direction of the cutter facing away. But every now and then I have had a few good size chunks hit the glass but did not break it.

Well, you answered my question from a previous video. Those trails will disappear fast without maintenance! I wish I had that brush cutter, I would surely massacre some mesquites!

Your main boom pin needs grease seems like a week point on this excavators especially when it’s hot they scream for grease

I would not do a flail mower, I'd keep this all day long.

How do you oil the gear case on that unit? Does it take 80-90w or just grease

I believe it is self contained with gear lube.
