    What exactly does a mist filter do?

      According to the manufacturer: "When used with Osmo Pocket 3, the Black Mist Filter can control highlight flares, lower image sharpness, and reduce blemishes and other skin imperfections during shooting." Have a look at the last 1/3 of the video when it's dark. All the lights have a corona around them, we kinda like that look.

    Can you stack this Pro Mist filter with DJI's ND filters? I tried it with Freewell NDs, but it didn't work.

      Can’t help you with that, sorry. Search on TH-cam, pretty sure you’ll find a video explaining everything… 👌🏻

    did you color grade this video or just the Normal 10bit mode setting?

      D-Log on the daytime shots and colour graded. Night shots are in Low Light and Slow-Mo Mode straight from the camera.

      @@charliegoss5427 it’s the DJI Mist Filter. I couldn’t find any info on the website and don’t know. Will contact them and ask…

    this must be a mist filter at 1/4... I mostly prefer 1/8 as it's more subtle but still... looks great!

      @vancityvalkyrie  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      You're correct. I just contacted DJI Support... it's a 1/4 filter.

    Which mist filter do you have?

    Did you adjust the sharpness of or noise at all? I saw that they recommend the sharpness to be at -2 on the videos I’ve watched. Also, any EV adjustments?

    • @vancityvalkyrie
      @vancityvalkyrie  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No adjustments made. I heard about those sharpness settings as well, haven’t tested it yet…

    Were you concerned at all filming in the rain? I just got my Pocket 3 and live in Seattle, so I’m a bit concerned about using it during our rainy winter.

      Right hand on the camera, the left hand was holding a hat over the camera for protection. I wish DJI would have made it somewhat waterproof.
