As an Asian female raised in a small town I didn’t have my own tribe. Margaret Cho was the first Asian I saw in the public spotlight that broke open doors for us and allowed us to not be a stereotype to be accepted in media. Bobby also opened doors following. This episode speaks to me in so many ways. Bobby and Margaret speaking in Korean ❤️❤️❤️
I enjoyed seeing Bobby speaking Korean for some reason.
I have been listening to podcasts for several years now like YourMomsHouse, Ten Minute Podcast, The Fighter and the Kid, Joey Diaz's podcast, Joe Rogan Experience, Ku and the Gang.. etc. But I have been really really starting to fall in love with tiger belly.. There literally hasn't been an episode yet thats been anything other than completely amazing and funny. When I see an episode is going to have Bobby's little brother in it I get the same joy you get as a child on Christmas morning. Well.. one of my normal Christmases not one of Bobby's haha.

She was the biggest thing out there. And then she seemed to fall off the comedy stage. She deserves so much more success and work. She was the first Bi sexual person I saw on network tv EVER. And at the half way mark of the second season she came out as Bi. And the ratings starting dropping each episode. Then it got cancelled at the end of the season. America wasn’t ready for a Bi sexual series regular. Margret came out WAY before Ellen came out in her show. Ellen had to fight to work. And was given the opportunities only years later. And Margret tried hard but wasn’t the same opportunities.
i remember annoying my grandmother in a joking way and she said she was going to kill me and throw me away and i just started bursting out laughing

There’s not a person in the world who has made me laugh as much as Bobby has in my 29 years of life. He may just be the funniest human on earth & is so underrated & under appreciated by the industry. So happy he’s been doing more movies & bigger roles

Yep they all over mainstream news now cause tilda released the emails she had with cho not on some "here is what really happened" shit but as in "we had a good exchange and I wanted to understand" shit.
yeah her response seemed genuine. i think maybe comedians are guilty of embellishing the truth somewhat.
Cho's comments are borderline slanderous. She comes off badly from this podcast and the email reveal.

55:55 that's hilarious! Years ago I was doing a mural for a client in Copenhagen. He started questioning my abilities as an artist as I was taking my time..and he couldn't understand what this whole texture thing was about. I said "Listen, you can shout all you like but I know what I'm doing..I'm a published artist...go on bloody Google me!" he then calmed down. later on that night I googled myself and the first page that came up was "Clearance Sale ...Okse Prints 75% off!"
I didn’t realize I needed to see podcast. But I truly did. I love the Korean persuasion. I need more of Bobby and Margret together. Gilbert and Khayla added so much to the dynamic.

Man all of the societal issues that Bobby lee and margaret cho are discussing is so very real and still an existing problem within people that grew up with 1st generation asian immigrant parents. i happen to be one and im sure others can relate on here as well. growing up, both of my parents never knew or even tried to understand themselves in how they could help an adolescent facing depressive mood swings or struggling with their cultural identity as an outsider but also parts of them feeling americanized. the part where margaret talks about how in asian cultures they dont like to talk about their feelings, it is very dead on. i have a very not so great times growing into my teens and always having to deal with sitting at my parents dinner table and none of them ever asking things like how most american households talk to their kids about how their day was at school or ever trying to know the proper ways of bonding with their adolescents to try to get know them as an individuals outside of their academic identity.

To be honest, if Bobby was using this over-the-top accent and went for a stoned-as-shit road-movie, I would pay anything to watch that. I mean, the video of him crashing into a car IRL outside a comedy club had me laughing sooo hard because of the way he looks, so confused, out of place and kind, I just love him. also if Theo von would be his co-star that would be the comedy of the year. especially if Theo never knew that Bobby was korean and always called him the wrong things xD

We need to create our own projects, and not for waiting for roles in mainstream. On the other hand, movie business is a creative project, it's also up to the makers to evolve the roles like Dr. Strange. The good side of this story is to reach out and discuss like both Ms Swinton and Ms Cho have done. I'm glad they post all the email in exchange as a good example on how to have a meaningful conversation and hopefully evolves the matter.
True. Most of the Black actors you see in Hollywood, would not have a job if it wasn't for Black films made by Spike Lee, John Singleton, Wayans Bros., Tyler Perry, etc, giving them a chance to break into the White dominated industry.

I've seen this with a few where you have guests and its going awesome and you guys get to around an hour and just cut it off.
