I don’t think your ratio is off for the color, I believe it has to do with the color it’s being placed against (if that makes sense). If you know what color you’re going to do in the background before, I would paint that color down, then add the color you’re going to airbrush on top of that color so you can see if that’s what you will like or not. And you can always, always add other colors together to get the right shade in the airbrush tank! Beautiful set though and honestly that color did SLAP with the brown! Beautiful set!
