spider man no way homes’ ending always hits me. It’s relatable not in the magic spell makes everyone forget you, but to me it’s really about letting go of people. As much as you still wanna be a part of their lives and as much as they mean to you, you know that in the end they will be better off without you. And that hurts. Having recently cut ties with many people from my past this ending cuts deep in a very relatable way and that’s why I loved it. I just hope for spider man 4 we actually get to see the consequences and have peter really feel the effects of that decision. It’s not something he’ll just get over, so we need to see peter lonely and angry and depressed at first and through the movie he learns to move on and rebuild his life as both peter and spider man cause remember that not only ned and mj don’t remember him, but happy, dr strange, pepper potts and almost all the avengers don’t remember him. It’s unclear whether the spell affected thor and captain marvel too. For Spider Man 4 Peter needs someone to talk to about everything and I think the best person for that is Matt Murdock. He knows better than any other character what the dual lives can do to you. Matt know that letting go of your friends is sometimes necessary in order to spare them the pain that comes with being a superhero and also to keep them from danger. I don’t think it would be wise for marvel to just reverse the spell so either peter just remeets mj and ned naturally or not at all.

The fact we haven't gotten a good live action Spider-Man movie since No Way Home is so damn sad. Not to mention The spider verse films are ending after beyond the spider verse. I'm just glad I was able to experience all of them when they came out.
