I totally enjoyed the wonderfully varied and beautiful array of cardigans. You have opened my eyes to a whole new staple for my wardrobe. I did not realize just how exciting, versatile, and lovely the "sweater" had become with so many different pattern designs and the vast types of fabrics available. Thank you, thank you, thank you! I can hardly wait to get started sewing. I haven't sewed anything for 30+ years.
After I watched the episode where you wore the Sydney Jacket, I just had to sew one for myself. I used a boiled wool fabric and I am so happy with my choice of fabric and the style of the jacket. I wished I could attach a photo of my creation so you could see it. Thank you for your taking your time to bring us all the wonderful inspirations.
Thank you 🤗 Downloaded the Harper. 👍 Kristen, could you consider doing a vlog on long sleeved dresses please? They're great in summer in a really light fabric so you don't worry about getting sunburnt and of course good for colder seasons in a warmer fabric.
Great round up of cardigan patterns. I sewed up my first ever a few weeks ago. It was the free Sinclair Patterns Harper. I made the split side duster in a petite. It’s the first time I haven’t had to shorten sleeves! It came together beautifully and I’m new to sewing. I was short on fabric so I made the front neck band a bit more narrow and that worked out. I loved it so much I promptly sewed up another one with 3/4 sleeves. I love that Sinclair has petite, regular and tall sizes.
You've reminded me to go fabric shopping - I need fabric for 2 cardigans I'll be making! I'm going to compare a New Look with the Harper Cardigan and see how they measure up. Should be interesting! ❤️😘🤗☀️🌺
Thanks for the cardigan review. I made the Harper jacket from Style Arc in linen to go with summer dresses. It worked very well although the sleeves are a little snug and I needed to shorten it a lot for summer. It is on my list of makes for autumn. What I really like about it is there is provision to put hooks and eyes in it to make it snugger. Can hardly wait for the winter fabrics to arrive in the shops so I can get started.
I love ready to sew patterns. I’ve made 7 of the joisette top because i love hearts ♥️ I use my quilting cotton which is fun to mix and match on the top and bottom.
Hi there, I made the Fulton out of a teal Milano ponte knit (heavier weight ponte) and it was really nice. The notch is a bit tricky but I got there in the end and it looks great, The Juniper cardigan by Jennifer Lauren is a lovely more cropped fitted cardie. Diana
hi Kristen, nice cardigans! Also, I made a top out of the fabric in the dress you're wearing, after seeing you model it a while ago! Interesting sewing with linen for the first time, it's kind of springy :)
Hi there! wondered if you have ever made the style arc abby cardi? am so confused by the mitred collar/shoulder I wish there was a tutorial on it, but I cant find anything. Really love the Nina cardi from style arc you sewed. so versatile.

You're so welcome!
Just found your video on cardigans and loved it! I am from NZ and it is nice that you mention where you get your fabric from. Very inspirational!
