I'm from New York and I have to say that I love British humor, Lee Evans is hilarious, everything he does stand up, interviews. doesn't matter Hilarious!!! Now this is the first time i've ever seen Ms Hawes, and Ohhhh I'm in love... OMG!!! Shes beautiful beyond words. Ms Hawes can I make you a drink too?

@pressure drop What do you mean? Just because there were no camera phones or internet logging everyone's every move, doent mean he didn't have a very exciting life. He had a terrible childhood, and became one of the most loved movie stars of his time.

I had the privilege of meeting Lee Evans way back when he was touring. Really nice guy but yes very shy and nervous. He is at heart a family man for which is the reason he retired from show business. He always reminded me of Norman wisdom in his mannerisms.

Saw Lee in Bristol years ago when he was still a young lad. He did the "So you want to be a comedian" LP sketch. He barely said a word for 20 minutes and the place was in uproar. Absolute genius.
Lee Evans looks disgustingly good for his age. Obviously as a straight man my sexual and heart organs are drawn toward the beautiful Keeley Hawes and her immense talent, but my brain is trying to work-out why Evans looks that amazing for a 54 year-old man.

The resemblance is uncanny :) He has stated that one of his main influences is actually Robin Williams. When asked if he takes inspiration from Norman, he said although he enjoys his films, he doesn't consider him as one of his inspirations.

Grew up watching Mouse Hunt a lot as one of our home movies. I had no idea he's British, much less that he has a strong cockney (I think?) accent. He does a very natural sounding middle-American accent, well done.

He kind of didn't according to what he said on graham's show. Basically his Mrs was being selfish keeping Lee all to herself and didn't want him going out lol he's brilliant at what he does why would you stop him..
