Hey guys, really appreciate all the responses. Both good and bad. One question I've seen a lot online has been around the NDA in the agreement, which "prevents" them from sharing their side. I felt I need to make it clear that I have absolutely zero problem with them responding to what I said. I 100% agree that you need to get both sides of the story so I'd love for them to share their side with backed receipts. I have receipts and evidence for every single thing I spoke about in the video, plus the information I shared is only the tip of the iceberg. - Ben
You say you have receipts but then you haven't shown any in the video and you try and bamboozle people talking about operating costs as a reason you couldn't share profits etc... not sure this is going the way you thought it would...
You can never know the circumstances they live in, becoming somewhat famous a bit fast doesn't completely change your entire life when it's not entirely you becoming famous. And even if that was the case, it's still not enough for such a drastic change of a life style.
@user-xw2fd4fq2kthe comedians took no risk. If the 50% thing is true then they were insane. If the guy just took half I would understand but he also has to pay rest of the staff as well.
@user-xw2fd4fq2k Which are directly tied to him finding them. Do I care for the new cast? No not really, they lack something...but it does not change the fact that the channel was Ben's vision, so yes you are here to watch what Ben made - the comedians are just part of it.
@@hullmees666 this. They wanted 50% but certainly they wouldn't give anything to YeahMad from the extra money they are making from getting famous because of YeahMad. I bet their sold-out stand-up shows weren't that full a couple of years ago.
Some crazy irony in saying something like this in a youtube comment section. Truth is, no matter what is actually going on here, or what social media platform you're on; people are shitheads.
So someone just throwing out "facts" without any facts (e. g. contracts, bill, bank statement etc) is better than a redditor with connections to the cast
In 6 months, no one will remember the old members, Hammo, Akila, Abby. But YeahMd wil just get better and better. This is how YeahMad will prosper, bring in new talent every 6 months. Gve new aspiring comedians a chance to shine. It is a shame, that the old crew thought they were special, they are NOT. But there are hundreds of talented Australian comedians that want a taste of success and good exposure.
Unfortunately, the contracted comedians hung out their washing on TH-cam, Reddit and Facebook. They leave themselves open to comments. The basis of the Drama is simple, the contracted comedians thought they could blackmail the owner of the show by threatening to leave. The owner did the correct thing and DID NOT renew their contract. Now there are new talented comedians who have a chance to shine, win - win for everyone. It is not about neutrality, if you wanted to stay neutral, you should not have commented...lol.
Damn i thought ya'll are tight group of friends that hangout and someone just happens to have stuffs for video recording and decided you make videos whenever you guys hangout.
@@jackhamilton1261eeh it just got clear for me, people come and go. I just binge watch from last month episodes new faces seems chill rory, matt, and sath still there. Im glad matt stayed
it's been pretty obvious from the first episode that they were random people thrown together. They had to grow together, which caused a lot of the awkwardness we loved early on.
Yeah I thought that they were all friends that seem to have a lot of fun and said "hey what if we create a channel and tell jokes, just to have fun" but with all of this that idea dropped and it's not the same feeling anymore, I'll support them, but it's not the same
@@archeryan8404 50/50 of total revenue, split between actors and the company is bullshit, especially on a newly grown channel. you clearly have no fucking clue what you're talking about.
There is not a lot of misunderstanding. I reckon instant fame got to their heads and they could not grasp the idea that they were under contract and thought they owned Yeahmad. Kudos to Ben, he could not say anything until the cast members decided to move on. But it will not end well for them, their personalities are too diverse. I feel sorry for the new channel, too many bosses and not enough talent. They may reckon they exist as a family, but they will soon learn that you can pick your friends, but are stuck with family.
@@adem-Savs The "company" is not as big as he makes it out to be... he wouldn't have been where he's at without the talent he had to get there. It should've been a partnership, seems like he treated them like employees and did not value them as much as he should. But the thing is, we only got his side of the story... are we supposed to take this as the truth? There are always three sides to a story... party one, party two... and the truth!
This is what we want. A clear explanation and full information to understand both sides' story. We were all shocked when the old cast left without any explanation. And then you bring up a new cast like the old cast never existed. Also, the hate toward the new cast is unfair and unreasonable. They made a great Charades episode and made me laugh like I used to do with the old cast. I believe this new cast is the future of YeahMad.
sorry but didn't even watch one episode consisting of new cast, even if sath is included in that cast or not, and I don't think I will again... it's joever.
I think anyone who has 'done TH-cam' knows that what Yeahmad was doing was a hell of a lot more complex than a few people just sitting at a table telling Dad jokes. I have a feeling the old cast will run into this reality with their new channel, though I wish them every success. The ultimate judge is the viewer, and we will see what they decide for both groups. Hopefully it ends up being an 'everybody wins' situation.
I doubt the channel will ever get started - They have to figure out all the logistics and pay for everything now. If they pooled money, then they might be able to.
There will never be a channel with those guys. It's not easy to start a channel this size in terms of production. Hamilton is hardly getting views on his channel. Abby started a channel and once all this wears off, don't think anyone would be interested. Sam has gone the degeneracy route and started her OnlyFools account. They could've done all they're doing now and still worked at YeahMad for a few days a year. They got too greedy and effed up.
Yh I do a gaming channel and that’s already much more complex than I ever expected, for me it’s just the editing and scripting, just watching at vids makes it feel effortless
He has had to post because the numbers will be abysmal after the original cast left but will still be collecting 100% profit now from the videos they did. Both sides need there heads banging and try and meet in the middle. This show could tour and that's where the real money could be made.
It's not that simple. The "haters" keep flagging videos (for no legitimate reason) to try to get them taken down, which kills the channel revenue, as well as mass-downvoting, which I would guess reduces the channel's exposure based on TH-cam's algorithm.
Little confused on the profit sharing deal reasons. Typically profit sharing is after all the costs listed. Revenue sharing would be before those costs. So if it is profit sharing, it wouldn’t be a risk. 4:33
Your are not alone, i am confused about that as well... Profit is that part that is left after everything u have to pay for is paid. so if there is no profit they would not get any money. At least that is my understanding of it. Dont know what the standard ratio is for merch. Maybe 3:1 is the normal share for merch in the industry, would be interesting to know if the 25% or the 50% would be the reasonable offer.
The OGs setting up a new channel can only be a good thing. Comedy is subjective, everyone has their favourites. Having two channels to choose from is great from a viewers perspective! - more choice, but more importantly: more comedy - which is what we're here for!
@@jubayerjubu4038unfortunately things require investment. Look at TV and movies, for example. It’s very much an art, but it takes a lot of money to make these things work. And if the first project doesn’t work, there’s no money left for a lot of people to move onto and try a second project.
I don't know why it took so long for you to acknowledge this and tell us why and what is happening, but this is all I wanted to hear. I'm not going anywhere I'll just have to get used to the cast now.
I could think of a few reasons 1. Legal process like someone said in the comments above 2. It could be that Ben kept quiet cuz he didn’t want to ruin the old cast’s reputation but has been suffering from the consequences such as people attacking this channel 3. This is a bit dark but is very possible - The new cast is starting a new channel. He is trying to sabotage them by posting this cuz this could have the effect of making it look like they were the bad guys and he’s the good guy here.
Thanks for clearing the air, this channel and all the people involved helped my mental state between losing my grandmother and my job the past 9 months and I won't forget that. I have respect for all of you and will make an effort for both the old crew with their new channels/content and the new crew here on yeahmad. Keep up the great work!
Surely I'm not the only bloke on here that smells bullcrap.... If all these business opportunities were presented to the cast, those with a proper sense of business would have stayed to maximize profits and opportunities . There is a reason why all your cast left. I have been running 2 Telecommunications companies since 2015. After taking the Lions share of all profits in the first year of trade , my first sales team left aswell to greener pastures. Share the love brother! Share all profits equally!! They draw the crowd and all your views at the end of the day!! If your colleagues feels done in and under appreciated, they WILL F-off
You’re right on the money with this. it’s obvious there is a lot left out here. It’s why I only do business with people who have the strength of character to be accountable. With accountable people you get the truth instead of biased stories full of holes. Just watching him as he speaks he oozes BS.
@@mprice6683 exactly. he also shows total numbers instead of per person to make it look big, also australian dollars instead of USD for the same reason and total for 6 months instead of per segment too
You said you dont mind them sharing their side. But you mever denied there being an NDA. So it sounds like a threatening "I dare them to" if anything. YeahMad is doomed. You have no personality outside of your cast and the heavy hitters are gone. Might as well accept your loss and pack it up. I never watched YeahMad for you and I never watched it for its name. I watched it for the cast that brought value to your channel and now that theyre gone, your channel practically has no value. You don't seem trustworthy at all.
Seems like you are putting words in his mouth a bit and imagining your own narrative a little. There is a new cast and they will carry on. He was not and probably never will be the face of the channel. He is the owner and he runs it, that's it. He never stated the people were there for him. You can either give the new cast a chance (because in my opinion they are not bad, but the concept is a bit tired out by now) or you can cry in the corner, because a change happened that you don't like. And I'm sure most fan boys and simps for the female cast will do the former. People tend to forget that for Ben this is a business and he needs to run it as a business.
i look at like this take both sides with a grain of salt because who isn't saying both aren't lying. one to make one look better etc. wasn't ben deleting comments?
@@comedyguy911In all fairness, those weren't receipts. He could've easily fabricated those screenshots he shared. It's more like a powerpoint than evidence
Honestly, the viewers needed this for a looong time. I've seen the same comment you're referring to a while ago and (because you're behind the scenes, it was believeable) I couldn't really do much about it. Then Matt and Sath was on set and that was a point for me which made me question the whole story (Sath not as much for obvlious reasons :D ) So glad that this video brighten things up you can't believe it.
Thank you for making this channel with the old and new cast. I’m always grateful for the content. We all know things won’t ever stay the same, but I hope everyone gives the new cast time to adjust. Thank you for reaching out to the fans and keeping up up to date and getting the truth out there.
Two huge thing I don't like about this, 1: the numbers presented about how much they made were in chunks for the whole group.... not per actor. Only one note showed how much they would have made. Yes, you're carefully saying, "Together they would have" but no one really cares how much a group of 8 people or so were making, to make a comparison, you should have used per person through out. 2: projected based on the idea that they could have negotiated... nah. Nobody does that.
I noticed he left out the final result of the first renegotiation, and he doesn't seem to understand that profit is what's left after expenses, so listing the expenses as the reason why he can't share profit is pretty stupid.
A business cashflow is important. U cant have zero or few cashflow around. A business is business, friend is friend. This is why a business is hard to keep around friends, and friend wont last long in a business, as everyone expectations is different. If someone couldn't understand the situation, especially in the earlier stage, it will ruin the business.
He understands just fine. He had all the risk of losses while they had none. The talent have no responsiblity for other people, legal liability, overhead (which is substantially at risk) or business survival if those people leave - which they did. You try starting and running a business like that sometime and let us all know how it goes, OK?
Plus, the cast fees seem much, until you realize it's for the whole cast, i.e. that's what all these people on camera get overall, not what any individual is getting
In a viewer’s perspective: this is actually interesting, we can see a new cast and in another channel we have the same guys. I will watch both, hope the best for each group
You literally made them sign an NDA. You claim that you're okay with them telling their side of the story but if it comes in a form of a criticism then you would most likely sue them and cite the breach of the NDA to your benefit. The fact you did something dirty like keeping their mouths shut is absolutely pathetic.
He adressed that in the pinned comment and NDAs can't really prevent you from talking about a previous workplace. They can only prevent you from talking about trade secrets, so unreleased projects, anything that might be copyrightable or patentable basically. They can't prevent you from bad mouthing your ex boss/coworkers. I think the reason they're staying silent is they want to appear professional because this sort of thing can damage your career if you comment on it publically. But if you keep your side private, you can swing opinions to your favour in future interviews.
@Xeridanus an NDA would prevent them fron talking about the business structure which is what got us here in the first place. Theyre not talking shit because, that doesnt really get them anywhere and the stuff that would actually paint a picture is protected by the NDA.
@@2EXTRM I don't think business structure would be covered tbh or if it is, it would be pretty unusual. Most of that info is public and it's not useful information for competitors. I'm not an expert though.
@Xeridanus ive had to sign about 4 NDAs in my career. Yes that information can be in there. Compensation info is very useful to poach or maximise profit in certain conditions. However this has nothing to do with competition, its just about managing a scandal.
I have enjoyed all of your content and effort. As it is sad to see the original crew, not be present. The new crew look to be very happy to work together and do their best. Have to admit if it wasn't for the algorithm I might not have stumbled upon this. I hope you take this controversy as a lesson that when stuff like this happens you get out in front of it immediately. I doubt I will watch this channel going forward because frankly I stayed for the chemistry between the original cast but it at least clears up that things weren't so one sided. Best of luck Ben.
Thank you for sharing Ben ! I completely understand your position, and offer unconditional support to this channel. All the very best and love from IN !
Thank you for clarifying! It’s absolutely understandable that 50% deals can’t work especially when the cast is earning that as salary but the channel owner has to cover other costs with their share of 50%. The only problem here is staying quiet about the actual concerns for so long. I believe all the followers just really wanted to know what’s going on. It’ll take sometime to get used to the new cast but someone of them are really very difficult to connect with..
The $200 bucks thing happened when on the very first episode the comedian who got hated AF on tik tok talked to a newspaper about it and mentioned she just went for a paycheck and got monumental hate for no reason. I get to understand why people believed this was forever the payout, but it’s kinda nonsense that after a year, merch and growth they’d make the same as in the very first payment
I noticed you're giving numbers for all of them. So it's divided by 6? They made 3250/6 at first, Secondly what you meant makes no sense they would have gotten 50% of the merch profits, profits come after deducting the business expenses. This video is a spin.
The sleight of hand also when talking about the expenses is crazy too. Like come on, you film a group of people sitting at a table telling jokes with some light editing, this isn't TV show level costs. And its not like the actual production itself is anything unique, its literally a few camera angles on a white background. The cast make it what it is, none of the rest is special.
It’s very slightly dishonest, but the major selling point to be on yeahmads side is the risk Ben is taking. The cast is getting set amounts of pay and even royalties on merch/their own ideas, but Ben is taking on months and months of risk without any guarantee of return. He literally hatched the idea, saw it through with loans (or personal money), and then continued paying more to the crew that took basically 0 risk. Them asking for larger shares of merch sales is insane if the channel hasn’t even broken even yet. How is it fair they can make 10k a month (on top of the money they already made filming 10 days in 3 months) when the ceo is still in the red. I’m also commie leaning, so I’m not saying Ben should be a millionaire before they start making money. Now the cast gets firsthand experience on how much risk Ben had to take
Agreed not entirely clear if he is talking about GROSS revenues or NET profit splits. I understood it originally and even on replay as gross. Nobody pays content providers 50% of the gross as that would be a recipe for financial disaster and foolish business practice. However, as he keeps stressing "he wasn't making any money yet" then if that refers to the business overall then there aren't any profits to share! So, again would suggest gross. Content creators wanting 50% of that is madness. For instance, with merch then the business is paying for production and distribution whilst the cast would be getting just profits for no or little effort and zero risk. For comparison, investment bank traders and salepeeps might expect to get just c.10% of the gross revenue they pull in. Admittedly that is for bonus payments on top of excellent base salaries. But merch sales aren't much different as it's not germane to the job. There seems to have been some fundamental naivete on both sides. Becasue even if was a claim for 50% of the net profits as an employee that's a very rich demand, essentially unreasonable.
errrr...so you start out talking how much each person was being paid per segment and then jumped to "they" being paid tens of thousands per day to demonstrate how much "they" were being paid. How about just being transparent and saying how much each one was being paid huh?
You list off all the things that need to get paid for, but you neglect to mention that it’s Profit sharing, meaning that the costs had to be covered before any money went out. Sure you take some operational risk running the channel, and need to cover that, but the cast brings in the money. 50/50 is totally fair, and many creators just use vendors to handle that operational stuff for much less than 50% profit
There are a lot of holes in what he is saying. What I find odd is why didn't we see any talk about using Patreon to help with things? A lot of channels this size use it to help raise money. Also, there was clothing sold with Alan's picture on it, which makes me wonder if there is a clause that allows for him to use their likeness.
@@aarongunstone6579As an enterprise you need net profit to build a war chest for future expenditures and investments (i.e., updated equipment) and it is a business decision to NOT pay more dividends. Doesn’t mean that the CEO starts commuting in private helicopters instead.
@@aarongunstone6579 they aren't when the business has only fairly recently become profitable. These expenses existed for every video, and Ben was footing the bill getting into debt. The cast always got paid while Ben took all the risk, he had debts to repay once it became profitable. The point it becomes profitable and the point he breaks even are not the same
They are not meaningless as the risk of not making a profit is still 100% on the person fronting that money. If you have a 50% profit share with 5 items and 3 almost break even, one does well and the other does horribly you could still be in the red while the profit share partner makes bank off the one good one.
@@aarongunstone6579your profits especially if you’re in debt are going to be used to reinvest into the business. It’s too risky to give 50% profit share for sure on a business that’s only 5 months old and none of the cast members have any risk
Running and operating a business is is ridiculously difficult and most people do t realize the depth of doing so. Mentally physically and emotionally invested in something doesn't just end when you end your day at five o clock, it consumes what seems every decision you make and takes a toll. End of the day a business must make profit to keep running and expanding, pay the workers more but there's no profits and business dwindles. Don't pay the workers and make profit in order to expand and they aren't happy. Keep the business happy or keep workers happy, these are the daily decisions that are made that most people don't realize or understand. Then when a decision is made, you question if it was the correct one or not. I was in a really bad accident and forced to close all my businesses after I was left bedridden. With much time to reflect I came to the conclusion that one must do what they feel is best decisions at the time and what their gut instinct tells them, if it fails just know you did your best and there's nothing more you could do. I wish everyone here the best and hope everything turns out for the best in the long run
You also need to come up with new content that people want to watch or people will just end up getting bored of your channel and drift away. Epic Meal Time is probably the biggest example of this, same old content for years. In their heyday they were puling in millions of views for every video, now they barely get 6K viewers on a video.
How would Abby respond if the employees of the bar she manages demanded a share of the profits? Yeahmad is improving after unloading the old wood, every struggling comedian wants a chance to be on Yeahmad. Fresh talent is the best thing for the company. Ben is absolutely correct sticking to 6 month contracts, it means the channel moves forward instead of being stuck with old dead wood. Not the brightest move by Andrew, Abby and Akila, they believed their own press and over-estimated their value.
I really don't give a shit about these details, but if cast is asking for 50% of PROFIT and you start arguing about costs, you may want to go back to economics school. Profit = Revenue - Cost, so cost are irrelevant, especially as they should include a payback on your invest so far.
The main problem: the chemistry the original cast had was way better and that's why a lot of people watched this. I have personally unsubsribed as i haven't enjoyed the videos as much as i used to. I follow all the original cast on tiktok, youtube etc as that's what i fell in love with, not the actual channel itself. It seems to me they have done themselves a favour and left a toxic work environment
Hey Ben, Thanks for the clarification and addressing the situation and giving an account of what went from your side as well. Post videos more consistently without taking too much time between one video and another, be interactive with the audience once again, and the haters will slowly disappear over the course of time. Good luck 🤘🏽
This is what happens with youtube channels such as this which are essentially entertainment businesses. A cast fuels the channel's success, then demands a pay raise which is denied and in retaliation ventures out on its own. Look at how buzzfeed has always followed this cycle. Not taking any sides here because both parties seem to have valid reasons for their actions and we never truly know who's lying.
The cast doesn't fuel the success all bynits3lf. Ben created the channel, he came up with th3 ideas, he put the money to get the studio space, equipment, people to use those equipment, legal fees, taxati9n and all other expenses of running a business. The "crew" were just ghe front. And to demand what they did just after few months of being famous is ridiculous. Easiest way to crash all this is for them to start their own channel. Theyll r3alis3 the amount of effort and finances that go into making it a success. If they 3ver start a channel and hire new guys to tell jokes, even they won't ever pay 50% of profits. That's not businesses run. Id buzzfeed had followed what you're saying, why would so many if them leave buzzfeed and start their own channel? 🤷
As you mentioned, it would have helped if this was brought up sooner. The longer it takes one party to respond, the more you just get one side of the story and time to speculate. It also feels like the person who comes out last has had time to create a bullshit story so just overall, try to be more open about this kind of thing when you legally can.
Entire group, surely. I don't know why he didn't say numbers per person. Maybe they weren't the same so it would be too complicated to constantly mention 10 different numbers? Thumbnails have great impact on weather you choose to watch the video. It actually became an important job.
Most of those jobs are done by at most a handful of people... merch is almost certainly outsourced, same with accounting and lawyers... absolutely not hiring full time. He's trying to make us think the company/channel is bigger than it actually is.
@@micglou What he said was he hadn't gotten to breakeven before the drama started. Meaning every cast member made more than he did. It's math, plus accounting. It's really hard to get to breakeven from scratch in less than 2-3 years in entertainment. Musicians have to build an audience. Comedians have to build an audience. Time and skill and devotion.
Too bad you didn't make this video sooner, but anyways, it's great to finally have some real info on this matter. It makes me sad how it all ended up, but shit happens. I believe that things will turn out great for the channel and the new cast has a lot of potential.
Wtf man, maybe I was naive or so but I thought that YeahMad was a group of friends enjoying making these videos, not paid actors in paid studio, and the fact that you get so successful to get monetized by YT was a side goal, I would never thought you had these problems 😂 keep on the good work! 👍

i just recently discovered yeahmad and i enjoy the content. its good seeing people tell jokes and not get offended. thats my favorite thing about the channel.
To be honest I would cycle out cast members anyway. You can always ask back the popular cast members and no one will notice because its constantly new members and new content. Watching the same 5-6 people do the exact same thing over and over will not help your channel grow as much as it could. Keep Matt and Seth as they are awesome and would be awesome producers as well as cast.

@@lightingluo I mean, it's a sensitive issue when you're talking about employee pay and stuff. I don't think revealing pay would be anyones first defense move. Very new to the channel but been absolutely binging the videos. I liked pretty much every person in these videos, crazy funny stuff. Good luck on future, mad concept of drinking and joking. Yeah, mad!
If you are open to transparency could you free the former cast members of the supposed NDA. Hearing both sides of the story is a better way to form an opinion. Conditions where great and they got sooo much money for basically no work doesn't quite make sense to me. It also feels like you picked one "source" that you can easily debunk. And a bunch of other specific allegations one example beingcast members not having the oppertunity to partake without consuming alcohol. And to be honest for me personally the channel started to fall of when those "new concepts" started. Charades just didn't do it for me the way the dad jokes did. Also the roast was not nearly as fun. How shady must you be to take lawsuit money into account from early on in starting a company?

I mean, really anyone who isn't directly involved should be neutral.

@@sir_fancy_exe1608 or they get bored of chanting and forget about the channel. For example, I don't watch the new cast and that's fine too.
Literally.

2: projected based on the idea that they could have negotiated... nah. Nobody does that.
right here! he was misleading and anyone with poor comprehension which most are would fall for it
I noticed he left out the final result of the first renegotiation, and he doesn't seem to understand that profit is what's left after expenses, so listing the expenses as the reason why he can't share profit is pretty stupid.
This video is just PR to get some heat of his back. If you look at the latest video there's way less negative comments than usual.
A business cashflow is important. U cant have zero or few cashflow around. A business is business, friend is friend.

The $200 bucks thing happened when on the very first episode the comedian who got hated AF on tik tok talked to a newspaper about it and mentioned she just went for a paycheck and got monumental hate for no reason. So it's divided by 6? They made 3250/6 at first,
Secondly what you meant makes no sense they would have gotten 50% of the merch profits, profits come after deducting the business expenses.
Now the cast gets firsthand experience on how much risk Ben had to take
Wait, I thought its 3250 per person
@@BigMacEnjoyer3000 It said right at the top of the page that it was the payout to the entire cast, not individual members.
I appreciate your side of it. Thanks for explaining
So sad Matt and Sath didn't leave
*What a nice and good explanation man, hope this will clear up all the mess*

They are not meaningless as the risk of not making a profit is still 100% on the person fronting that money. Thank you for the explanation Man. I was curious. I still love yeah mad, and will certainly continue to tune in!

I’m very glad you made this video, and I just pray you keep us updated.
Hey Ben,
Thanks for the clarification and addressing the situation and giving an account of what went from your side as well.
Post videos more consistently without taking too much time between one video and another, be interactive with the audience once again, and the haters will slowly disappear over the course of time.
Good luck 🤘🏽
This was all we was asking, an explanation. Thanks Ben.
Thanks for the clarification. This is what we needed.
thanks for being so transparent. There are so many costs behind the scenes that people need to be aware of. Respect!!
You sound like you’ve never run a business. Shelf stacker who just wants more.
@@Saf_92 you sound like you don't know shit about youtube.
Don't give in to the drama! You guys are awesome. Keep up the good work. Sometimes you are the only thing I have to look forward to.
This is the best self drama breakdown I've ever seen. Your talent is also showing
Keep it up, good for you for not giving in. I wish you the best.
Wish you guys the best, no harm. I'm not honestly vibing with the new crew, but don't want to knock you guys either. Wish you the best.
As you mentioned, it would have helped if this was brought up sooner. The longer it takes one party to respond, the more you just get one side of the story and time to speculate. It also feels like the person who comes out last has had time to create a bullshit story so just overall, try to be more open about this kind of thing when you legally can.
Exactly this and I don't believe a word from Ben... also no evidence was shown either.
Uh...yes evidence was shown...
@@Schnapsbrennor Screen shots can easily be faked. It's allegations right now.
@@m2hmghb I agree with you.
Which isn't fair, regardless of when both sides show evidence, they should be looked at fairly. Sometimes, it takes a while to gather all receipts.
Where can I sign up to become a thumbnail designer?
ikr
Probably not their "one job".
It takes a good deal of an hour to touch up a single professional photo _wtfdym_
@@Z4Zander he has thumbnail designer under graphical designer.... Are you soo easily fooled? Lol
@@nv2202 yes. You have graphical designers that do that. This guy seems now even more shady asf.
Thanks for share your position Ben now everything is aligned. I will keep supporting the channel good vibes.
Thanks Ben for the information, not everything can go perfect.
What profit shares has anything to do with expenses?? Profit would be shared after the expenses he mentioned.. 50% was a fair deal
Still gonna support you guys, I love the jokes and content. Wish everyone well, but hey atleast my favorite members are still on this channel
It's better to clear the air yourself than for someone else to make thunder out of it.
That's a great euphemism for farting in an elevator.
@@kanzenj 😂😂😂😂 Now I can't go back, can't read it without Imagining this
I could have totally missed it but are those totals for the entire group or per person? Thumbnail designers?
Entire group, surely. I don't know why he didn't say numbers per person. Maybe they weren't the same so it would be too complicated to constantly mention 10 different numbers?
Thumbnails have great impact on weather you choose to watch the video. It actually became an important job.
Think of thumbnail designers as cover artists for books or music albums.
This is much appreciated its important to hear both sides of the story i dont blame ben at all
Too bad you didn't make this video sooner, but anyways, it's great to finally have some real info on this matter.
@@jakelockley7208 well I saw that video in the video list but I didn't played it so I know how popular this channel is, but still, I never thought they were just paid actors. I kinda thought like the go: hey, let's make a channel about dad jokes and drinking, and eventually we get so successful with it that we get money from it 😂
i just recently discovered yeahmad and i enjoy the content. its good seeing people tell jokes and not get offended. thats my favorite thing about the channel.
There are 3 versions of every story...yours, theirs, and what happened everyone's view is different. Shit happens....we're human. I'm still a Yeah Mad Chick and I'll be an equally whatever their channel is too. I'm sure both channels will flourish. I wish everyone success and happiness
I agree. Two truths, and then there's the facts. 😉
Wow never seen it put like that... Gotta save that one for later!
... 3 sides to every story. Yours, Mine, the Truth.
Truth is not subjective. As humans we filter what we see and hear but what happened didn't change.
It's great you made an explanation video to clear things up, cheers for that.
4:07 Mate, I thought it was all YOU doing that. Lmao.
I’m not gonna speak for anyone else but this got my respect back. You confronting the situation and providing an answer is probably gonna go a long way with all audience members.
pssshhh... still doesn't changed the fact that he waited three months with no explanation until now.
People are saying ben took a long time to say this but people don't understand the controversies and risks the whole crew and yeah mad in general would have faced if he said it earlier. This was much needed because people are making 💩 up which is 100% false
@@lightingluo I mean, it's a sensitive issue when you're talking about employee pay and stuff. I don't think revealing pay would be anyones first defense move. He probably would've preferred NOT to talk about it but then people kept spamming and making assumptions and he was made to look like the bad guy, hence, the video needed to be made.
@@lightingluoLegally he may not have been able to.
Appreciate the transparency. Sucks that such a fun time can be crushed by stuff like this. Wish all the best and thanks for the laughs along the way.
I'm here for content that I watch for free... I understand the need for cast changes whether amicable or not. I'm here as long as the content is still funny.
I'm looking forward to your next video and the future of your channel 💪🏻 I need a good laugh amidst all the negativity we witness on a global scale!
Preparing a lawsuit fund makes sense considering the type of content they are making.
The real moral of the story is this: nothing is ever as organic as it appears anymore.
